True Law (original title: Prawo Agaty [1] ) is a Polish legal drama television series directed by Maciej Migas and featuring Agnieszka Dygant as the title character, Agata Przybysz. It premiered on TVN on 4 March 2012. The plot is set in Warsaw.

Plot

The series tells the story of Agata Przybysz (Agnieszka Dygant), coming from Bydgoszcz an over-thirty director of law section in a big insurance company, who loses her job as effect of some unpleasant events. Now she has to build her career life and private life from the beginning. Her friend, Dorota (Daria Widawska), offers her to launch a set of chambers together. For Agata, it is the brand new experience. The cases, people and their problems, that she faces in her new job, differ from the insurance cases she was used to.

True Law premiered on TVN on 4 March 2012 at 8:00 p.m. with two back-to-back episodes which attracted the audience of 3.57 million viewers with the share of 20.84%. In group "16-49" True Law reached share of 23.04% and was watched by 1.84 million viewers. It was the 14th most watched program of the weekend. [2]

International broadcast

Following the success in Poland, broadcast rights have been sold abroad. In Russia, the series airs under the local title Правосудие Агаты on Много ТВ. [10] In Montenegro, two complete series have been broadcast on TV Vijesti after premiere on 9 June 2014 under title Agatino pravo. [11]

The second series of Polish television music competition X Factor started on TVN on 3 March and will end in June 2012. The pre-auditions took place in December 2011 and filmed auditions began on 10 January 2012 in Zabrze. Two of the judges, Czesław Mozil and Kuba Wojewódzki returned, though Maja Sablewska had left the show after the first series. She was replaced by a new judge, Tatiana Okupnik. Jarosław Kuźniar returned to present the show.

The series was won by acrobatic duo Delfina & Bartek, with dancing duo Pitzo & Polssky coming second. Acrobat Anna Filipowska came third.

MasterChef is a Polish television series based on a British television cooking game show under the same title. It premiered on TVN on 2 September 2012. The show is hosted by Magda Gessler, who also hosts a Polish version of Kitchen Nightmares on the same channel. She also serves as the head judge and is joined on the panel by Michel Moran and Anna Starmach. It was broadcast on Sundays; seasons 1–3 were at 8 p.m., while season 4 was at 9:30 p.m.

Agnieszka Chylińska and Małgorzata Foremniak returned as judges and were joined by Agustin Egurrola. The series was won by Ukrainian sand artist Tetiana Galitsyna, who received PLN 300,000. The runner-up, folk music band Tekla Klebetnica received the second prize, a car funded by sponsor of the series. Dancer Santiago Gil came third.

X Factor is a Polish television music competition to find new singing talent. The fourth series began airing on TVN on 1 March 2014 and ended on 31 May 2014. Kuba Wojewódzki, Tatiana Okupnik and Czesław Mozil returned as judges. Ewa Farna joined the judging panel as the fourth judge. Patricia Kazadi presents the show.

The seventh series of Mam talent! began airing on TVN on 6 September 2014. The judges' auditions began on 9 June 2014 in Katowice and ended on 8 July in Warsaw.

The ninth series of You Can Dance - Po prostu Tańcz! premiered on TVN on 17 February 2016. This series was changed to the new format. The judging panel was extended by winner of the first season Maciej Florek and finalist of the same season Ida Nowakowska, who joined original judges Agustin Egurrola and Michał Piróg. Kinga Rusin didn't return as judge due to her commitments as host of an upcoming series Agent - Gwiazdy, a celebrity version of The Mole on TVN. Patricia Kazadi remains the host of the series.
