Trump Islands are located in Notre Dame Bay, within census division No. 8, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. [1] [2]
The uninhabited islands are noted for their mineral wealth.
The Trump Islands are two uninhabited islands, North Trump Island and South Trump Island, located on the western side of Friday Bay, within the larger Notre Dame Bay. The two islands are surrounded by several small islets, and are separated from each other by Trump Island Tickle, a rock-and-islet-filled channel. [3]
North Trump Island is 1.6 km (1 mi) long with a peak elevation of 76 m (249 ft), and South Trump Island is 2 km (1.2 mi) long with a peak elevation of 63 m (207 ft). [4]
Tizzard's Harbour is 1.7 km (1.1 mi) northwest of the Trump Islands, and Dildo Run Provincial Park is 3.7 km (2.3 mi) south. [5] Small vessels can anchor at Fools Harbour, at the eastern end of South Trump Island. [4]
Exploration of the Trump Islands did not occur until the 1860s. Fishing is poor, and the islands are surrounded by rocks, making them difficult to reach by boat. [6]
Chalcopyrite and high-grade copper-cobalt ore were found on the islands in 1863. In 1999, gold, pyrite, pyrrhotite, silver, and sulphide were also found. In 2017, King's Bay Resources acquired mining rights to most of North Trump Island. [7]

Belle Isle is an uninhabited island slightly more than 24 km (15 mi) off the coast of Labrador and slightly less than 32 km (20 mi) north of Newfoundland at the Atlantic entrance to the Strait of Belle Isle, which takes its name.

The Quiniluban Group is a group of islands in Palawan Province of the Philippines situated between the islands of Palawan and Panay in the Sulu Sea. The group is the northernmost in the Cuyo Archipelago, consisting of several islands and rocks. The easternmost of which is a circular group of islands surrounded by reef about 6 nautical miles in diameter. The largest of the circular group is Quiniluban Island. The island group also includes the upscale resort island of Pamican located about 5.6 nautical miles southwest of the circular group, and Manamoc Island located 3.0 nautical miles further southwest of Pamilacan.
Mount Sungay, also known as Mount Gonzales, is a mountain in the province of Cavite in the Philippines. Located in eastern Tagaytay, the inactive stratovolcano is the highest point in the province of Cavite, at 709 metres. The slopes of the mountain are the source of the San Cristobal River that flows from the mountain to Silang, Cavite down to its mouth at Laguna de Bay in Calamba, Laguna.
