Miss India or Femina Miss India is a national beauty pageant in India that annually selects representatives to compete in Miss World, one of the Big Four major international beauty pageants. It is organised by Femina, a women's magazine published by The Times Group. Since 2013 to 2022, Femina also organised Miss Diva as a separate competition, with representatives competing at Miss Universe.
Miss Universe 1992, the 41st Miss Universe pageant, was held on 9 May 1992 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Seventy-eight contestants competed in this year. Michelle McLean of Namibia was crowned by Lupita Jones of Mexico at the event's conclusion. This is the first and so far only time that Namibia won the pageant.

Miss Namibia is an annual national beauty pageant in Namibia. It selects Namibian representatives to compete in three of the Big Four international beauty pageants, Miss World, Miss Universe and Miss Earth.

Miss International 2012, the 52nd Miss International pageant, was held on October 21, 2012 at Okinawa Prefectural Budokan Arena Building in Okinawa, Japan. Fernanda Cornejo from Ecuador crowned her successor Ikumi Yoshimatsu from Japan at the end of the event.

Miss World 2013, the 63rd edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 28 September 2013 at Bali International Convention Center, South Kuta, Bali, Indonesia. It was the first time in Southeast Asia and it also was the first time in the pageant's history that the event was held in a Muslim majority country. Contestants from 127 countries and territories competed in this year's Miss World pageant, marking the biggest turnout for any beauty pageant globally as of 2023. Yu Wenxia of China crowned her successor Megan Young of the Philippines at the end of the event, marking the only time to date that the Philippines has won the Miss World title. This victory also made the Philippines the third country to win all of the Big Four international beauty pageants.
Camila Vezzoso is a model from Uruguay and a beauty queen titleholder who was crowned Miss Uruguay 2012. She also represented Uruguay in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. Following the contests, she moved to Paris and is currently pursuing a modeling career.
Zhana Yaneva is a Bulgarian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Bulgaria 2012 and represented Bulgaria in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant.
Anastasia Chernova is a Ukrainian teacher, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Ukraine Universe 2012 in October 2012 and represented Ukraine in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant. 2004 Miss Ukraine Universe winner Oleksandra Nikolayenko helped her prepare for the Miss Universe pageant. Ukrainian designer Anastasiya Sukhanov created the traditional Cossack-inspired dress that Chernova wore at the competition.
Miss International 2013, the 53rd Miss International pageant, was held on December 17, 2013 at the Shinagawa Prince Hotel Hall in Tokyo, Japan. Alejandra Andreu, Miss International 2008, crowned Bea Santiago of the Philippines at the end of the event. This was the second consecutive year Japan hosted the pageant.
Paulina Malulu is a Namibian beauty queen and model who represented Namibia and participated at the Big Four international beauty pageants. She competed in Miss International 2012 and was in the Top 15. She went on to compete for Miss World 2013 and Miss Universe 2013 and Miss Earth 2014.
Olivia Jordan Thomas is an American actress, model, television host, and beauty pageant titleholder, who was crowned Miss USA 2015. She represented the United States at Miss Universe 2015, where she placed as a second runner-up. Jordan also represented the United States at Miss World 2013 where she finished in the top 20. She is the first known woman from Oklahoma to be crowned as Miss USA.
Miss World 2015, the 65th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 19 December 2015 at the outdoor arena of the Crown of Beauty Theatre in Sanya, China. 114 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Rolene Strauss of South Africa crowned her successor Mireia Lalaguna of Spain at the end of the event. It was the first time in the history of Miss World that Spain won the pageant.
Miss Universe 2016 was the 65th Miss Universe pageant, held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, in Pasay, Metro Manila, Philippines on January 30, 2017. This is the second time in the history of the competition that the pageant skipped an entire year, following the 2014 pageant which was held in January 2015.
Miss World 2016, the 66th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on December 18, 2016 at the MGM National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Maryland, United States. 117 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown. Mireia Lalaguna of Spain crowned her successor Stephanie Del Valle of Puerto Rico at the end of the event. It was the second time that the Miss World pageant held in the United States. It was the second time where Puerto Rico won Miss World, after Wilnelia Merced in 1975.
Selma Carlicia Kamanya is a Namibian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Namibia 2018 on July 7, 2018. She represented Namibia at Miss Universe 2018 pageant.
Nadja Breytenbach is a Namibian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned the title of Miss Namibia 2019. She represented Namibia during Miss Universe 2019.
Chanique Rabe is a Namibian model, fashion designer, and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Supranational 2021. Rabe was previously crowned Miss Teen Continents 2015 and Miss Supranational Namibia 2020, making her the first representative from Namibia to win the Miss Supranational title, the first African country to do so.
