LyonpoSangay Ngedup was Prime Minister of Bhutan from 1999 to 2000 and again from 2005 to 2006.
Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck is the Druk Gyalpo,the monarch of the Kingdom of Bhutan. After his father Jigme Singye Wangchuck abdicated the throne,he became the monarch on 9 December 2006. A public coronation ceremony was held on 6 November 2008,a year that marked 100 years of monarchy in Bhutan.
Changlimithang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Thimphu,Bhutan,which serves as the national stadium. It is predominantly used for football matches and is the home of the Bhutan national football team,other national selections and number of Thimphu-based football clubs. Floodlighting was added to the football pitch in 2009 and an evergreen turf was laid in 2012,to coincide with the start of the first season of the National League. Located 2,300 meters (7,500 ft) above sea level,the stadium is one of the highest in the world. It has raised numerous controversies in footballing circles,as its significant altitude affects the absorption of oxygen in the human body,offering considerable advantage to the home teams who are more accustomed to such conditions.
Queen Mother Tshering Yangdon is the third wife of the former Bhutanese king,Jigme Singye Wangchuck. She is the current Queen Mother of Bhutan,as she is the mother of the current Bhutanese king Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. She is also the mother of King Jigme Khesar's two younger full siblings,Princess Ashi Dechen Yangzom and Prince Gyaltshab Jigme Dorji.
The High Court of Bhutan derives its authority from the 2008 Constitution of Bhutan. It consists of the Chief Justice and eight Drangpons. The Chief Justice and Drangpons of the High Court are appointed from among juniors,peers,and eminent jurists by the Druk Gyalpo. The judges of the High Court serve 10 year terms,or until reaching age 60;this retirement age is unique among the Civil Service and Constitutional Offices of Bhutan —all others retire at age 65. During their tenure,they are subject to censure and suspension by the Druk Gyalpo on the recommendation of the National Judicial Commission for proven misbehavior that does not rise to the level of impeachment.
The Supreme Court of Bhutan (དངོན་མཐོ་ཁྲིམས་འདུན་ས།) is the Kingdom of Bhutan's highest court of review and interpreter of the Constitution.

Lily Wangchuk or Lily Wangchhuk is a Bhutanese politician,diplomat and activist. A diplomat between 1994 and 2008,in November 2012 she became the first Bhutanese woman to be appointed president of a political party.
Neten Zangmo is a Bhutanese government official and politician. She headed Bhutan's Anti-Corruption Commission,and was bestowed with the title of Dasho in 2009. On 29 May 2017 she became leader of Bhutan Kuen-Nyam Party. She resigned the position on September 16,2018,the day after the party failed to make the first round of voting to compete in the general election,but it took nearly two years for the BKP to accept her resignation. The party founder,Sonam Tobgay,told Bhutan Broadcasting Service that it would be difficult to replace Zangmo,who he considered the party's biggest asset. "Within the BKP family,we have high respect for her and also have expectations from her.”
