It was released by Warner Music Italy on 4 September 2020 as the third single from her studio album Nuda . [2] [3] The song peaked at number 83 on the FIMI Singles Chart and was certified gold in Italy. [4]
A music video to accompany the release of "Tsunami" was then released onto YouTube on 8 September 2020. The video was directed by Giacomo Triglia and shot in the Maremma Regional Park, near Alberese, Grosseto. [5]

Annalisa Scarrone, better known as simply Annalisa or Nali, is an Italian singer-songwriter and record producer. After being part of two bands, Elaphe Guttata and leNoire, she rose to the fame after coming in second in the tenth season of the Italian talent show Amici di Maria De Filippi (2010–2011). Subsequently, Annalisa participated at the Sanremo Music Festival 2013 with the song "Scintille", finishing ninth.
The Kolors is an Italian pop rock band founded in 2009 by lead vocalist Stash Fiordispino, drummer Alex Fiordispino and Daniele Mona who plays synthesizers. They are known for their hits "Everytime", lead single from their second studio album, and the collaboration "Pensare male" with Elodie. Their 2023 song "Italodisco" peaked at number one in Italy and charted in severals European charts.
