The 1920 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the VII Olympiad and commonly known as Antwerp 1920, were an international multi-sport event held in 1920 in Antwerp, Belgium.
The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion[ˈkilstaːdijɔn]) was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Following the Olympics it was converted to a football stadium. Its current tenant is K Beerschot VA, a Belgian football club. There are no remnants of the Olympic athletics track.

In NJPW, he is a three-time NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Champion and a one-time IWGP Intercontinental Champion. His name literally translates to "house" in Tongan, which suits his wrestling persona as an immovable force.

Their participation marked their fourth consecutive Summer Paralympics appearance since their début at the 2000 Summer Paralympics in Sydney. Tonga was represented by the Tonga National Paralympic Committee, and was one of the 45 participating countries that sent only a single athlete. Tonga has always sent only a single athlete from Sydney 2000 to London 2012. Tonga National Paralympic Committee sent a delegation of three people, including one athlete. The sole athlete to represent the nation was ʻAloʻalo Liku, who participated in javelin and discus throw. Liku was the country's flag-bearer during the Games' opening ceremony. Tonga did not win a medal at these Games, however Liku finished with seasonal bests in both the events.

The 2013 San Jose State Spartans football team represented San José State University in the 2013 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Spartans were led by first year head coach Ron Caragher and played their home games at Spartan Stadium. The Spartans were first-year members of the Mountain West Conference in the West Division. They finished the season 6–6, 5-3 in Mountain West play to finish in a tie for third place in the West Division. Despite being bowl eligible, the Spartans were not invited to a bowl game.

South Eastern Titans Rugby League Club is an Australian rugby league football club based in Dandenong, Victoria formed in 2007. Previously known as Dandenong Knights and then the Berwick Bulldogs they conduct teams for both Juniors & Seniors teams since the renaming of the club. In round 23 of the 2012 season, the club was historically the first ever to develop a Victorian born and bred player into the National Rugby League. That player to achieve such a milestone was Mahe Fonua who has gone on to play 50 first grade games for the Melbourne Storm and represent internationally for Tonga.

The men's heavyweight event was part of the boxing programme at the 1988 Summer Olympics. The weight class allowed boxers of up to 91 kilograms to compete. The competition was held from 22 September to 1 October 1988. 18 boxers from 18 nations competed. 27-year-old Ray Mercer, who took up boxing only four years prior, won the gold medal.
Ray Fales is an American luger. He competed in the men's doubles event at the 1964 Winter Olympics.
In the girls' futsal tournament at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics, each team had to name a preliminary squad of 20 players. From the preliminary squad, the team had to name a final squad of 10 players by the FIFA deadline.
