The Tuanku Ja'afar Royal Gallery (Malay : Galeri Diraja Tuanku Ja'afar) is a gallery in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. The gallery is about the former Negeri Sembilan Yang di-Pertuan Besar Tuanku Ja'afar.
The gallery building started its construction on 2 May 2012 and completed in 2013. [1] The first phase of the gallery was opened on 4 December 2014 by Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan Tuanku Najihah. [2]
The building has a concept of modern colonial architecture. [3] The gallery is housed in a three-story building with an area of 4,087 m2 and divided into 9 exhibition halls. Six exhibitions hall are available for visitor viewing while another three halls are still under construction, which are: [4]
The gallery exhibits the private collections and life of Tuanku Ja'afar. [6] [3]
The gallery is within walking distance north east of Seremban railway station.
Negeri Sembilan, historically spelled as Negri Sembilan, is a state in Malaysia which lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east, and Malacca and Johor to the south.

The Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, also known by its informal name Stadium Paroi or Paroi Stadium and nickname The STAR of Paroi, is a multi-purpose stadium in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. Inaugurated on April 23, 1992, the stadium initially held a capacity of 20,000 people. In 2004, the capacity of the stadium had been upgraded to 45,000 people for the hosting of the 2004 Sukma Games. It is currently home to the Negeri Sembilan Football Association.
The Yamtuan Besar, also known officially as Yang di-Pertuan Besar and unofficially as Grand Ruler, is the royal title of the ruler of the Malaysian state of Negeri Sembilan. The Grand Ruler of Negeri Sembilan is elected by a council of ruling chiefs in the state, or the Undangs. This royal practice has been followed since 1773. The Yamtuan Besar is elected from among the four leading princes of Negeri Sembilan ; the Undangs themselves cannot stand for election and their choice of a ruler is limited to a male Muslim who is Malay and also a "lawfully begotten descendant of Raja Radin ibni Raja Lenggang", the 4th Yamtuan.
Seri Menanti Royal Mausoleum is a royal mausoleum of the Negeri Sembilan royal family located in the royal town of Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah District, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. This mausoleum is located next to the Tuanku Munawir Royal Mosque.
Tuanku Sir Muhammad Shah ibni Almarhum Tuanku Antah was the seventh Yamtuan Besar of Seri Menanti, and ruled from 1888 to 1933. During his reign, Negeri Sembilan came under British protection in 1889 and became a Federated Malay State in 1895.

Tuanku Aishah Rohani binti Almarhum Tengku Besar Mahmud is the current Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan. She is the wife of the current Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir.
Tunku Zain Al-'Abidin ibni Tuanku Muhriz, , more popularly known as Tunku 'Abidin Muhriz, is the second son of the reigning Yang di-Pertuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia, Tuanku Muhriz ibni Almarhum Tuanku Munawir and the reigning Tunku Ampuan Besar of Negeri Sembilan, Tuanku Aishah Rohani binti Tengku Besar Mahmud.

Tuanku Munawir ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman was the ninth Yang Di-Pertuan Besar of the Malaysian State of Negeri Sembilan. He was the eldest son of the first of Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, Tuanku Abdul Rahman with his second consort Tunku Maharun.
