The Tungabhadra Express is an Express train in India which runs between Kurnool City in Andhra Pradesh and Secunderabad Jn in Telangana. This train is named after the River Tungabhadra. The Secunderabad Division of the South Central Railway division of the Indian Railways administers this train.

In Thamizh, Thunga means sleep, and therefore this slowest train is synonymous to the sleepiness introduced into the passengers due to the lethargy introduced by the slow journey inside this train, ironically hauled by a WDP-4D from Gotti shed.

The Secunderabad–Nanded Express is a passenger rail service that operates between the cities of Secunderabad in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh and Nanded in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It initially ran between Chennai Central to Patna, but in 2001 it was extended to Yeswanthpur in Karnataka and ran between Yeswantpur to Patna via Chennai Central. The train runs at an average speed of 70.58 km/h and is the fastest diesel hauled shatabdi train on IR and also the fastest train connecting these two cities. Dibrugarh–Kolkata Express is a weekly Superfast train that connects Dibrugarh, known as the "Tea City of India", in eastern Assam and Kolkata, West Bengal. The train runs between Dibrugarh station of N F Railway and Kolkata station of Eastern Railway. It is named after the Dihing River, a tributary of the Brahmaputra river and an important river of the Dibrugarh district in Assam. This train was announced in the Railway Budget 2012/2013.
