Pittsylvania County is a county located in the Commonwealth of Virginia. At the 2020 census, the population was 60,501. The county seat is Chatham.
Washington-Liberty High School, formerly known as Washington-Lee High School, is a public high school in the Arlington Public Schools district in Arlington, Virginia, covering grades 9–12. Its attendance area serves the central third of Arlington, and it also offers the International Baccalaureate program countywide.
Whitmell Pugh Tunstall was a lawyer and state legislator in Chatham, Virginia. He was the long-time advocate most responsible for the creation of the Richmond and Danville Railroad which was completed in 1856.
Algernon Sidney Buford was a Virginian businessman, politician, and lawyer best known for his 22-year presidency of the Richmond and Danville Railroad, during which he was responsible for growing the line from 140 miles in length to 3,000 miles in length. Born in North Carolina to parents of Virginia stock, Buford grew up in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and attended the University of Virginia from 1846 to 1848, graduating with a Bachelor of Law. For the next decade, he practiced law in Pittsylvania and Danville and became the owner and editor of the Danville Register. These occupations were interrupted by a year's service in the Virginia House of Delegates in 1853.
Maritime and Science Technology Academy, commonly referred to as MAST Academy, or MAST, is a public high school on Virginia Key in Miami, Florida. MAST Academy is a magnet school under the governance of Miami-Dade County Public Schools. The school's principal is Dr. Cadian Collman-Perez. U.S. News & World Report ranked MAST as the 42nd best high school in the nation as of 2015.

Spotsylvania High School is a public high school in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. It serves the southern half of the county. The Knights are the least densely populated of the schools in the division. SHS houses the only International Baccalaureate programme in the division, as well as being one of two sites for the Commonwealth Governor's School. Both of these centers are made up of students accepted into the program who come from SHS, as well as other high schools in Spotsylvania County. SHS also works in partnership with Germanna Community College to offer the Gladys P. Todd academy, where students attend GCC during the day for their junior and senior years - achieving an associate degree along with their high school diploma upon graduation. The Original Spotsylvania High School opened in 1940 and three schools hosted the name of Spotsylvania High School.
Lakeville North High School (LNHS) is a public high school in northern Lakeville, Minnesota, United States. Formerly Lakeville Senior High School, LNHS received its current name when a second high school, Lakeville South High School, was built. Grades 9–12 attend the school, and its principal is Kim Budde.

Lincoln College Preparatory Academy (LCPA) is a three-year middle school and four-year college preparatory magnet school in the Kansas City, Missouri School District. The high school offers International Baccalaureate programs. Founded as a school for African Americans in 1865, it became a high school in 1890. It was not integrated until 1978 when it became a magnet school. The student body is now mostly black and hispanic. Less than 20 percent of students are white.

Infinity Institute is a public middle school / high school located in the Greenville section of Jersey City, in Hudson County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey, serving students in sixth through twelfth grades as part of the Jersey City Public Schools. While it is a public school, students have to apply for admission. Applications must have multiple letters of recommendation, as well as impressive grades from the previous academic year. Middle school applicants take the Otis–Lennon School Ability Test, while high school applicants take the PSAT/NMSQT. About fifty applicants are accepted for sixth grade, while only around ten make it into seventh grade annually. Approximately 10% of applicants that apply to grades six through twelve are accepted. The school consistently ranks in the top 5% in New Jersey academically. The school was established in September 2010 under the Jersey City Board of Education.
