Sheikh Tushar Imran (born 10 December 1983) is a cricketer from Bangladesh who has represented his country in Test matches and One Day Internationals (ODIs). In January 2018 he became the first Bangladesh player to score 10,000 runs in first-class cricket. [1] In November 2021,he announced his retirement from first-class and international cricket. [2]
Imran first hit the headlines aged just 17 when he made 131 from 106 balls in a domestic match for his side Khulna Division in 2000–01. This was the same season in which Bangladesh were granted Test status and although he had to wait a while to join the Test team he made his ODI debut in 2001.[ citation needed ]
His Test debut came against Sri Lanka at Colombo on July 28,2002. He made 8 and 28 as Bangladesh were defeated by 288 runs. In order to play the game he had edged out three former Bangladeshi captains in Naimur Rahman,Akram Khan and Aminul Islam which showed that the selectors were willing to invest in him.[ citation needed ]
He has so far struggled in the international stage but is a regular for Bangladesh A who he captains. He was first part of a Bangladesh A tour when they went England in the summer of 2005. Imran impressed with a run-a-ball 70 against Surrey.[ citation needed ]
In December 2016,during the 2016–17 National Cricket League,he scored his 19th century,the most first-class hundreds by a Bangladeshi. [3] He was the top run-scorer in the 2016–17 Bangladesh Cricket League,with a total of 731 runs. [4]
In January 2018,during the 2017–18 Bangladesh Cricket League,he scored his 10,000th run in first-class cricket. [5] He became the first Bangladesh player to reach this landmark. [6] He was the leading run-scorer for Central Zone in the 2017–18 Bangladesh Cricket League,with 725 runs in six matches. [7]
In October 2018,during the 2018–19 National Cricket League,he became the first batsman to score seven centuries in the same year in domestic cricket in Bangladesh. [8] He finished the tournament as the leading run-scorer for Khulna Division in the tournament,with 518 runs in five matches. [9]
Faisal Hossain is a Bangladeshi former cricketer. He played international cricket for Bangladesh in 2004,one Test match and four One Day Internationals without establishing himself in the side. After poor performances at international level,Hossain drifted out of the international squad. He represented Chittagong Division in Bangladesh's domestic competition. Although primarily a batsman,Hossain was a part-time left arm spin bowler. He is currently active as a cricket coach.
Yasir Hameed Qureshi is a former Pakistani cricketer,who played 25 Tests and 56 ODIs for Pakistan. He scored two centuries on his Test debut against Bangladesh,becoming only the second player to do so just after Lawrence Rowe.
Hamilton Masakadza is a Zimbabwean former cricketer,who played all formats of the game for Zimbabwe. He captained the national team during 2016 ICC World T20,but was relieved of his duties following an indifferent team performance in the tournament,where they failed to get past the qualifying round. In February 2019,Zimbabwe Cricket confirmed that Masakadza would captain the national side across all three formats for the 2019–20 season.
Mahela Lakmal Udawatte known as Mahela Udawatte is a professional Sri Lankan International cricketer. He played as opening batsman in debut series in 2008,which shifted to become a middle order batsman for his comeback in 2017. He played his first Test Match against West Indies in 2018 after 10 years from his limited overs debut.

Sohag Gazi is a Bangladeshi international cricketer. He made his Test debut in first test during West Indies's tour of Bangladesh in 2012,taking six wickets in the second innings. He is the first and so far,only man to score a century and take a hat-trick in the same Test match and the first man to do it twice in first-class matches.
Rahmat Shah Zurmatai is an Afghan cricketer who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. He is a right-handed batsman and an occasional leg break bowler. He made his international debut in an ODI against Scotland in March 2013. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match,against India,in June 2018.
