Saint Thomas is one of the Virgin Islands in the Caribbean Sea and, together with Saint John, Water Island and Saint Croix, a former Danish colony, form a county and constituent district of the United States Virgin Islands (USVI), an unincorporated territory of the United States. Located on the island is the territorial capital and port of Charlotte Amalie. As of the 2010 census, the population of Saint Thomas was 51,634 about 48.5% of the US Virgin Islands total. The district has a land area of 32 square miles (83 km2).
Route 1 is a highway in the Canada province of Newfoundland and Labrador, and is the easternmost stretch of the Trans-Canada Highway. Route 1 is the primary east-west road on the island of Newfoundland.
State Route 242 is a primary state highway in the U.S. state of Virginia. Known as Gunston Road, the state highway runs 3.58 miles (5.76 km) from U.S. Route 1 near Lorton east to SR 600 at the entrance to Gunston Hall, the plantation of George Mason, on Mason Neck in southeastern Fairfax County.
The Magens Bay Arboretum is a five-acre arboretum located just inland of Magens Bay, Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. It is operated by the Magens Bay Authority and open to the public.
Maryland Route 611 is a state highway in the U.S. state of Maryland. Known as Stephen Decatur Highway, the state highway runs 8.51 miles (13.70 km) from Assateague Island north to U.S. Route 50 in West Ocean City. MD 611 is named for Stephen Decatur, the U.S. naval officer of the early 19th century who was born in nearby Berlin. The state highway provides access to Assateague State Park and Assateague Island National Seashore via the Verrazano Bridge named for Giovanni da Verrazzano. MD 611 was first paved in West Ocean City in the mid-1930s. The highway was extended south to MD 376 at Lewis Corner in the 1940s. A ferry crossed Sinepuxent Bay to Assateague Island from the southern end of the county highway that continued south from Lewis Corner until MD 611 was extended across the Verrazano Bridge in the mid-1960s.
Highway 10 is a road on St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Usually referred to as Center Line Road by locals, as it runs through the center of the island, Highway 10 runs from Highway 20 in Cruz Bay across St. John, entering Virgin Islands National Park along the way. Route 10 has three auxiliary routes, Highway 104, Highway 107, and Highway 108.

Highway 30 is a major road on St. Thomas, USVI.
Highway 32 is a road on St. Thomas, USVI. It runs about four miles (6 km) from Highway 38 in Tutu to Red Hook, the easternmost point of the island, where its designation changes back to Highway 38. Along the way, Highway 32 meets Highway 30 near the town of Nadir; though most traffic will have used the quicker Highway 38 into Charlotte Amalie, unless they are traveling from the south.
Highway 33 is a road on St. Thomas, USVI. It runs from Highway 30 near Frenchtown and takes a northerly path toward Crown Mountain. The road takes a circuitous route around the mountain; the route initially bypasses it to the west, then swings east and follows the mountain's north side. Highway 33 then intersects Highway 333, which provides access to St. Thomas' north and east sides, and it takes a southeasterly turn to meet Highway 40. Highway 33 continues east-southeast, intersecting Highway 379 before ending at Highway 35.
Highway 35 is a road on St. Thomas, USVI. Beginning in an intersection with Highway 30 overlooking St. Thomas Harbor, the road runs north through eastern Charlotte Amalie, passing by Fort Christian. Once out of the immediate vicinity of the town, Highway 35 begins its twisty journey north to Magens Bay. The road passes Highway 33 and has a brief multiplex with Highway 40 before turning to the northeast to meet Highway 42. Highway 35 finally turns north again and dead-ends at the entrance to Magens Bay Beach.
Highway 37 is a road on St. Thomas. Running just over two miles from a junction with Highway 33 to the Hull Bay beach, the road's function is to serve the north central part of St. Thomas. When combined with stretches of Highway 404 and Highway 301, it provides a safer but longer route to the west side of the island instead of using the clogged Highway 30 or the mountainous Highway 40 and Highway 33.
Highway 39 is a road on St. Thomas, USVI. Starting at Highway 42 near the Mahogany Run Golf Course, it runs in a north–south direction across the eastern portion of the island. After a brief multiplex with Highway 40, the road ends at Highway 38 a few miles east of Charlotte Amalie.
Highway 40 is a road on St. Thomas, USVI. Starting at a junction with Highway 42 on the eastern shore of St. Thomas, the road is about seven miles (11 km) long. Highway 40 serves several small towns in the eastern and central parts of St. Thomas. After the junction with Highway 42, the road continues west for a few miles, multiplexing with Highway 37 along the way, until it turns southward to meet Highway 33. Highway 40 then starts its descent into Charlotte Amalie. It enters the town on Gamle Norsidevei, until it meets Prindsesse Gade, which is one-way westbound. Traffic is directed onto Prindsesse to Nye Norsidevei, which is one-way southbound, which then meets Dronnigens Gade. Traffic on Dronnigens Gade wishing to access Highway 40 must turn right on General Gade, left on Prindsesse, and finally right onto Gamle Norsidevei.
U.S. Route 101 (US 101) is a United States Numbered Highway that runs along the Pacific Coast from Los Angeles, California to Tumwater, Washington. Within the state of Washington, US 101 connects cities on the coast of the Pacific Ocean and encircles the Olympic Peninsula around the Olympic Mountains and Olympic National Park.
Maryland Route 908 is a collection of unsigned state highways in the U.S. state of Maryland. These five highways are service roads that parallel and provide access to U.S. Route 50 and US 301 along their western approach to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge; the highways also provide access to Sandy Point State Park. The first modern highway from Cape St. Claire to Skidmore was constructed in the late 1920s and replaced by the modern alignment of US 50 in the late 1940s. The frontage roads on either side of the U.S. Highway were constructed in the early 1950s. The mainline segments of MD 908 assumed their present form when US 50 and US 301 were upgraded to a freeway in the early 1990s.
Lovenlund is a settlement near Magens Bay on the Northside of the island of Saint Thomas in the United States Virgin Islands.
South Carolina Highway 700 is a state highway in the U.S. state of South Carolina. Known for most of its length as Maybank Highway, the state highway runs 20.38 miles (32.80 km) from a dead end in Rockville east to U.S. Highway 17 in Charleston. SC 700 connects Charleston with James Island, Johns Island, and Wadmalaw Island in southwestern Charleston County.
