UCI Urban Cycling World Championships – Women's cross-country eliminator

The women's cross-country eliminator (XCE) is an event at the annual UCI Urban Cycling World Championships. [1] From 2012 to 2016 the UCI world championships in the XCE were held as part of the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships.

The men's cross-country eliminator (XCE) is an event at the annual UCI Urban Cycling World Championships. From 2012 to 2016 the UCI world championships in the XCE were held as part of the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships.

The 2016 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships was the 27th edition of the UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships. Unlike in previous years, the world championships for the various disciplines were held at two different locations. The world championships in cross-country were held in Nové Město na Moravě, Czech Republic from 28 June to 3 July 2016. The downhill, four-cross, and trials events were held at Val di Sole, Italy from 29 August to 11 September 2016.

Daniel Federspiel is an Austrian cross-country mountain biker, cyclo-cross and road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team Team Felt–Felbermayr. He specialises in the cross-country eliminator event, in which he was world champion in 2015 and 2016. He was also European champion in the cross-country eliminator in 2013 and 2014. He was given the Austrian Cyclist of the Year award in 2016.

The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Cup was a series of races in Olympic Cross-Country (XCO), Cross-Country Eliminator (XCE), and Downhill (DHI). Each discipline had an Elite Men and an Elite Women category. There were also men's and women's under-23 categories in the XCO and junior men's and women's categories in the DHI. The cross-country series had six rounds and the downhill series had seven rounds.

The 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships was the 28th edition of the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. As in 2016, the championships in the various disciplines were held at separate events. The world championships in four-cross were held at Val di Sole, Italy, on 24 and 25 August 2017, alongside UCI World Cup events in cross-country and downhill. The world championships in cross-country and downhill were held in Cairns, Australia, from 5 to 10 September 2017.

Titouan Perrin-Ganier is a French cross-country mountain biker. He specializes in the cross-country eliminator event, in which he is a six-time world champion. He was also European champion in the cross-country eliminator in 2017 and 2018. Ganier is also a nine-time national cross-country eliminator champion, winning six consecutive years from 2013 to 2018 adn again from 2020 to 2022.

The 2021 European Mountain Bike Championships was the 32nd edition of the European Mountain Bike Championships, an annual mountain biking competition organized by the Union Européenne de Cyclisme (UEC). The championships comprised six disciplines: downhill, cross-country cycling (XC), cross-country marathon (XCM), cross-country ultra-marathon, cross-country eliminator (XCE), and beach race.
