UEFA Womens Euro 2022 2022 edition of the UEFA Womens Championship

The 2022 UEFA European Women's Football Championship, commonly referred to as UEFA Women's Euro 2022, is the 13th edition of the UEFA Women's Championship, the quadrennial international football championship organised by UEFA for the women's national teams of Europe. It is the second edition since it was expanded to 16 teams. The tournament is hosted by England and was originally scheduled to take place from 7 July to 1 August 2021. However, following the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe and subsequent postponements of the 2020 Summer Olympics and UEFA Euro 2020 to summer 2021, the tournament was rescheduled for 6 to 31 July 2022. England last hosted the tournament in 2005, the last edition featuring eight teams.

The UEFA play-offs of the 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification competition involve the four runners-up with the best records among all seven groups in the qualifying group stage.

Group F of the UEFA Women's Euro 2022 qualifying competition consisted of five teams: Sweden, Iceland, Hungary, Slovakia, and Latvia. The composition of the nine groups in the qualifying group stage was decided by the draw held on 21 February 2019, 13:30 CET (UTC+1), at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. with the teams seeded according to their coefficient ranking.

Netherlands has qualified twice for the FIFA Women's World Cup: In 2015 and in 2019. They reached the 2nd round in 2015 and the final in 2019.

UEFA Group D of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup qualification competition consists of six teams: England, Austria, Northern Ireland, North Macedonia, Latvia, and Luxembourg. The composition of the nine groups in the qualifying group stage was decided by the draw held on 30 April 2021, with the teams seeded according to their coefficient ranking.
