USS Manayunk (YN-100/AN-81) was a Cohoes-class net laying ship which was assigned to protect United States Navy ships and harbors during World War II with her anti-submarine nets. Her World War II career was short lived as the war was ending, and she was placed in reserve and eventually struck by the Navy.
The second ship to be so named by the Navy, Manayunk was laid down with the hull identification number YN-100 by the Commercial Iron Works, Portland, Oregon on 18 December 1944. The ship redesignated AN-81 on 17 January 1945 and launched on 30 March 1945; sponsored by Mrs. Bryan Wallace Strong. Manayunk was commissioned on 25 May 1945.
Following shakedown and training, Manayunk steamed for the central Pacific Ocean for duty with Minecraft, Pacific Fleet. She operated in the Mariana Islands, primarily in the Saipan-Tinian area, laying and maintaining nets and moorings until the spring of 1946.
On 3 May, she departed Saipan for Pearl Harbor and the U.S. West Coast. Arriving at Astoria, Oregon, 2 June, she decommissioned 19 July and was placed in reserve. The ship remained a unit of the 19th Fleet until June 1961 when she was transferred to the U.S. Maritime Administration and placed in the National Defense Reserve Fleet.
She continued to be listed as Navy-owned until formally turned over to the U.S. Maritime Administration in September 1962 at Olympia, Washington.
Manayunk remained a unit of the MARAD Reserve Fleet at Olympia. She was struck from the Navy list in September 1962; her fate is unknown.
USS Passaic (YN-113/AN-87) was a Cohoes-class net laying ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. She was commissioned in March 1945 and spent her entire career in the Pacific Ocean. She was decommissioned in March 1947 and placed in reserve. She was sold to the Dominican Republic in September 1976, as patrol vessel Calderas (P209). As of 2007, Calderas remained active in the Dominican Navy.
USS Chinquapin (YN-12/AN-17) was an Aloe-class net laying ship built for the United States Navy during World War II. Originally ordered as USS Fir (YN-2), she was renamed and renumbered to Chinquapin (YN-12) in October 1940 before construction began. She was launched in July 1941, and completed in October 1941. Placed in service at that time without being commissioned, she was commissioned in January 1943, and decommissioned in March 1946. She was placed in reserve at that time and scrapped in 1976.
USS Anaqua (AN-40/YN-59) was an Ailanthus-class net laying ship which served with the United States Navy in the Western Pacific Theater of Operations during World War II. She served the U.S. Pacific Fleet with her protective anti-submarine nets, and returned home safely after the war.
USS Bitterbush (AN-39/YN-58) was an Ailanthus-class net laying ship which served with the U.S. Navy in the western Pacific Ocean theatre of operations during World War II. She served the U.S. Pacific Fleet with her protective anti-submarine nets, and returned home safely after the war with one battle star to her credit.
USS Teak (AN-35/YN-30) was an Aloe-class net laying ship which served with the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Ocean theatre of operations during World War II. She was assigned to serve the U.S. Pacific Fleet with her protective anti-submarine nets and earned two battle stars and other commendations for her bravery.
USS Teaberry (AN-34/YN-29) was an Aloe-class net laying ship which was assigned to serve the U.S. Pacific Fleet during World War II with her protective anti-submarine nets and, at war's end, returned home safety with one battle star to her credit. She was later reactivated for duty during the Korean War era.

Her World War II career was short due to the war coming to an end, and she was inactivated only to be commissioned again some time later as a tender for salvage craft.
USS Oneota (YN-110/AN-85) was a Cohoes-class net laying ship which was assigned to protect United States Navy ships and harbors during World War II with her anti-submarine nets. Her World War II career was short due to the war coming to an end, but she was retained post-war sufficiently long to participate in atomic testing at Bikini Atoll.
