UT69 is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language biographical film written by Raj Kundra and directed by Shahnawaz Ali. [1] The film was produced by Kripa Jaising under the banner of SVS Studios and The Bigger Picture. [2]

Monika Rawal Kukreja of Hindustan Times said "All said and done, UT 69 doesn't have a clear plot or a story that it wants you to understand, absorb and take back home with you". [4]
Shubhra Gupta of The Indian Express rated this film one out of five stars and said "The trouble with this two-hour-long tale is that instead of digging into details of the accusation—producing pornographic material– that lands Kundra in Mumbai’s Arthur Jail, where he has to stay for 63 days without bail, is that it is just one long litany of woes". [5]
Abhishek Srivastava of The Times of India rated this film 2+1⁄2 out of 5 stars and said "'UT69' takes a different path, utilizing humour to a degree that dilutes the overall impact. In retrospect, one can't help but wish that the filmmakers had embraced the more gritty and brutal elements, which could have elevated the film to a higher level of authenticity and resonance". [6]
Zinia Bandyopadhyay of The Free Press Journal rated this film 3+1⁄2 out of 5 stars and said "All in all no one will miss this film, a must watch film. ‘UT 69” will set a unique example in the minds of Human Right Authorities and all concerned within its premise. And they will surely work towards bringing reformations in our jails and treat the accused not like animals but like human beings". [7]
Simran Singh of DNA India rated this film three out of five stars and said "UT69 will surprise you as it gives a closer look at the life of jail inmates, and you might feel privileged to have basic amenities and live a free life." [8]

Aadujeevitham or The Goat Life is a 2024 Malayalam-language survival drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Blessy. The film is an international co-production involving companies in India and the United States. It is an adaptation of the 2008 best-selling Malayalam novel Aadujeevitham by Benyamin, which is based on the real-life story of Najeeb, a Malayali immigrant laborer, one among thousands of Indians who were forced into slavery in Saudi Arabia as goatherds on secluded farms in the deserts by the native Arabs. Drive is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language action-heist film written, edited and directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions. Starring Sushant Singh Rajput, Jacqueline Fernandez, Vikramjeet Virk, Sapna Pabbi, Pankaj Tripathi and Boman Irani the story of the film revolves around the manhunt for an infamous 'King' for a robbery of 300 kilograms of gold. An undercover agent infiltrates a street racing gang who is chasing the King. The film was scheduled to release on 7 September 2018, but was pushed to 28 June 2019, ultimately to not see a theatrical release. It was released on Netflix on 1 November 2019.
Stree (transl. Woman) is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by debutant Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj & DK. It stars Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor, alongside Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and Flora Saini. The plot is based on the urban legend Nale Ba, which means "come tomorrow" in Kannada, modified as "o stree kal aana" in the film.
Ponniyin Selvan: I is a 2022 Indian Tamil-language epic action drama film directed by Mani Ratnam, who co-wrote it with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan. Produced by Ratnam and Subaskaran Allirajah under Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions, it is the first of two cinematic parts based on Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel, Ponniyin Selvan. The film stars an ensemble cast including Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Jayaram, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, R. Sarathkumar, R. Parthiban, Rahman, Lal and Vikram Prabhu. The music was composed by A. R. Rahman, with cinematography by Ravi Varman, editing by A. Sreekar Prasad, and production design by Thota Tharani. Ponniyin Selvan: I dramatises the early life of Chola prince Arunmozhi Varman, who would become the renowned emperor Rajaraja I (947–1014). In the film, Vandiyathevan sets out to cross the Chola land to deliver a message from the crown prince Aditha Karikalan. Meanwhile, Kundavai attempts to establish political peace as vassals and petty chieftains plot against the throne.
