Uggerslev is a village in Nordfyn municipality on the island of Funen, Denmark, with a population of 353 (1 January 2024). [1]

The municipality included a number of small islands in the Kattegat off its northwest coast, and covered an area of 102 km2. It had a total population of 6,448 (2005). Its mayor was Arne Kruse, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Bogense.

The municipality included the island of Vigelsø, and covered an area of 169 km2. It had a total population of 10,973 (2005). Its last mayor was Bent Dyssemark, a member of the Venstre political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council is the town of Otterup.

Until 1 January 2007, Egebjerg municipality was a municipality in Funen County on the south coast of the island of Funen in south-central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 124 km2, and had a total population of 8,792 (2005). The last mayor of the municipality was Mogens Johansen. Its main city and the site of its municipal council was Vester Skerninge.
The Region of Southern Denmark is an administrative region of Denmark established on Monday 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish Municipal Reform, which abolished the traditional counties ("amter") and set up five larger regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the number of municipalities from 271 before 1 January 2007 to 98. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favor of the local level and the central government in Copenhagen. The Region of Southern Denmark has 22 municipalities. The reform was implemented in Denmark on 1 January 2007, although the merger of the Funish municipalities of Ærøskøbing and Marstal, being a part of the reform, was given the go-ahead to be implemented on Sunday 1 January 2006, one year before the main reform. It borders Schleswig-Holstein (Germany) to the south and Central Denmark Region to the north and is connected to Region Zealand via the Great Belt Fixed Link.
Skarø is a Danish island south of Funen. The island covers an area of 1.97 square kilometres and has 26 inhabitants. The island can be reached by ferry from Svendborg and Drejø.

To the east, Odense Fjord separates Nordfyn Municipality and Kerteminde Municipality. The seat of the municipality is the town of Bogense.
