Sven Anders Hedin, KNO1kl RVO, was a Swedish geographer, topographer, explorer, photographer, travel writer and illustrator of his own works. During four expeditions to Central Asia, he made the Transhimalaya known in the West and located sources of the Brahmaputra, Indus and Sutlej Rivers. He also mapped lake Lop Nur, and the remains of cities, grave sites and the Great Wall of China in the deserts of the Tarim Basin. In his book Från pol till pol, Hedin describes a journey through Asia and Europe between the late 1880s and the early 1900s. While traveling, Hedin visited Turkey, the Caucasus, Tehran, Iraq, lands of the Kyrgyz people and the Russian Far East, India, China and Japan. The posthumous publication of his Central Asia Atlas marked the conclusion of his life's work.

Pelle Helmer Petterson is a Swedish sailor and yacht designer. He is the son of Helmer Petterson and Norwegian-born Borgny Petterson, and studied design at the leading Pratt Institute in New York from 1955 through 1957. His father was also a designer who developed wood gas aggregates and Volvo PV444, strongly influencing his son to go in his footsteps. He is probably best known for designing the Maxi brand of sailing boats, which are still among the most common sailing boats in Swedish waters. He also designed Volvo's successful sports car, the P1800, while he was a student of Pietro Frua.
Ulrika Bergman is a Swedish curler from Solna. She is currently the alternate for the World and Olympic Champion Anette Norberg team. She was the fourth player for Margaretha Lindahl in four straight world junior championships from 1993 to 1996. Their best finish was in 1995 when they won the silver medal. In 1997, she switched throwing positions with Lindhal for their debut at the European Championships where they won a silver. Bergman has been Norberg's alternate since 2004, winning an Olympic gold medal in 2006.
The Swedish Swimming Federation is the national federation for Aquatics in body of Swimming in Sweden, as well as the other Aquatics sports: diving, synchronized swimming, water polo and open water swimming. It was founded on 23 March 1904 and is a member of LEN and FINA.
Gunnar Robert Hedin is a Swedish handball coach and retired player who won silver medals at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics. He also won a bronze medal at the 1993 World Championships, playing alongside his younger brother Tony. In 2008 he became coach of the Norwegian national handball team. As of 2018, he is the head coach of the United States men's national handball team.

Anna Ulrika Olsson is a Swedish former football goalkeeper. She played for Bälinge IF and Umeå IK in the Swedish Damallsvenskan and spent time with San Diego Spirit and Carolina Courage while contracted to Women's United Soccer Association (WUSA) in 2001. Nicknamed "Ucka", Karlsson represented Sweden at senior international level, winning 45 caps between 1995 and 2001.

Ulrica Persson, born 7 March 1975, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She won the women's main competition of Vasaloppet in 2001 and 2003. In 2003, she also won Tjejvasan. She also competed in the women's 30 kilometre classical at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
Maria Ulrika Kalte, born 19 May 1970 in Skärholmen, Sweden is a Swedish former association football player. She played for Älvsjö AIK and the Swedish national team during the 1995 World Cup in Sweden, where Sweden was knocked out in the quarterfinal game. and the 1996 Olympic Tournament in Atlanta, where Sweden ended up 6th.
