Umer Aalam is a Pakistani actor and the winner of the inaugural season of TV reality show Tamasha (2022). [1] [2] [3]

Career

Theatre

Born in Sialkot and having lived in Rawalpindi, Aalam has been acting since his school days and considers Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn to be his role model in the field. [4]

Aalam started stage acting in Islamabad in 2012, where he continued working until 2017, his major plays including Siachen by Anwar Maqsood and Bananistan by KopyKats Productions. [4] [5]

Film and television

He has been a television and film actor since 2018. His projects include Khaas , Pehli Si Muhabbat , Shehnai, Raqs-e-Bismil , Berukhi , Nehar , Darrar, and Carma – The Movie . [5] [6]

Aalam won Pakistani reality show Tamasha in 2022. [7] [8] [9] [10] He also co-hosted a Ramadan game show, Khel Kay Jeet, for Express Entertainment in 2023. [11] [12]

Umer Aalam will also appear as Saqlain Mushtaq in the biopic of former fast bowler of Pakistan, Shoaib Akhtar. [13] [14] [15]
