The UniSport Division 1 Handball Nationals (before: 2018 Australian University Games) is an annual mixed gender tournament conducted by the UniSport to determine the national champion of Division 2 collegiate handball in Australia. The tournament was held first held 2009, was re-instated in 2011, and has been held every year since until 2016. It should re-instate in 2020.

The Australian Schoolboys & U18 rugby union team is the national team for schoolboy rugby union & U18 players in Australia. Many players who have played in the Australian Schoolboys team have gone on to further representative careers with Super Rugby franchise teams and the Australian national rugby union team.

The handball tournaments at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was held from 6 to 21 August at the Future Arena in the Barra Olympic Park. The tournaments were won by Denmark in the men's competition and Russia for the women's tournament. The French teams for both competitions finished with the silver medal, and the bronze went to Germany and Norway, respectively.

University of Queensland Handball Club

The University of Queensland Handball Club is based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club has been affiliated with the University of Queensland since 1992. The club fields both men's and women's team in the Brisbane Handball League. Many players are international University of Queensland students but the club is open to non-students also. The club mascot is the UQ Tiger.

Thames Handball Club English handball club

Thames Handball Club is an amateur handball club founded in 2005 in London, UK. It is affiliated to the England Handball Association and currently runs competitive men’s handball team in Development leagues. The women's team voluntarily withdrew from official competition in 2016/17 and plays in a newly formed Handball Union.

Handball Australia hosts two separate national club championships. The first is a Beach Handball nationals competition and the second is the Australia Handball Club Championships featuring the state champions for Handball. The winner of the Handball Club Championships qualifies to represent Australia in the Oceania Handball Champions Cup.

The Australian National Handball Championship consists of four different tournaments across various age groups, including a Junior Section, Schools Tournament, and Australian University Games. In 2016, the Championship ran from 31 August until 9 October.

Handball at the 2020 Summer Olympics – Womens tournament

The women's handball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 12th edition of the handball event for women at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 25 July to 8 August 2021. All games were played at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

The men's handball tournament at the 2020 Summer Olympics was the 14th edition of the handball event for men at the Summer Olympic Games. It was held from 24 July to 7 August 2021. All games were played at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

2019 European Wheelchair Handball Nations Tournament

The 2019 EHF European Wheelchair Handball Nations’ Tournament was the 4th edition and was hosted for the first time in Croatia from 14 to 15 December 2019. This was the last European Wheelchair Handball Nations’ Tournament because next year will be held an official European championship. Croatia defeated Portugal to the first title.

The UniSport Division 1 Handball Nationals is an annual mixed gender tournament conducted by the UniSport to determine the national champion of Division 1 collegiate handball in Australia. The tournament was held since 2007 and has been held every year since, except the 2020 edition.

The Indigenous Nationals is a multi-sport event held annually between the 43 Australian universities and tertiary institutions. Overseen by UniSport Australia, the peak governing body of university sport in Australia. Only Indigenous Australians are allowed to comped.

UniSport is the national body of university sports in Australia. They are responsible for the Australian team at the International University Sports Federation events.

UTS Sport

The UTS Sport are the athletic teams that represent the University of Technology Sydney, located in Sydney. They compete at all events of UniSport. They offer 40 sports.
