Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School (PRESEC) is a secondary boarding school for boys. It is located in Legon, Accra, Ghana. It was founded in 1938, under the auspices of the Presbyterian Church of the Gold Coast. The Basel missionary-theologian, Nicholas Timothy Clerk (1862–1961), who served as the first Synod Clerk of the Presbyterian Church of the Gold Coast from 1918 to 1932, used his tenure to advocate for the establishment of the secondary school. The school has ties with its sister schools, Aburi Girls' Senior High School and Krobo Girls Senior High School.

The Ghana Secondary Technical School is a science and technology-oriented high school located in Takoradi on the west coast of Ghana. It is the third oldest high school in Ghana - the oldest 'non-missionary' high school. The School was founded on 9 August 1909 in Accra as Accra Technical School and later changed to Government Technical School. It moved to its current site in Takoradi in 1939. In 1953, the name was changed to Government Secondary Technical School, and in 1970, it was given its current name. Marian Ewurama Addy was a Ghanaian biochemist and the first Host of the National Science and Maths Quiz. The first Ghanaian woman to attain the rank of full professor of natural science, Addy became a role model for school girls and budding female scientists on the limitless opportunities in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Marian Addy was also a Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences, elected in 1999. In the same year, she was awarded the UNESCO Kalinga Prize for the Popularization of Science.

Obuasi Senior High Technical School is a co-educational second-cycle public high school institution in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school is located in between the two towns, Gausu and Koffikrom. The school in 2019 reached the quarter-finals of the National Science and Maths Quiz Competition after beating St Francis Xavier Minor Seminary and Krobo Girls SHS. The school came up first with 44pts followed by St Francis with 18pts and Krobo with 16pts. Masters Kojo Daniel Eshun and Lawrence Adjei were the proud contestants for that day. Obuasi Senior High Technical School has won the Ashanti regional Milo soccer competition in 2005 and 2015. In the Zonal Inter Colleges Athletics competition, they have won several times Students of the school were claimed to have created 'a touchless bin' in the fight against COVID-19.
