Uptown Hutch, formerly Hutchinson Mall, is a shopping mall in Hutchinson, Kansas, U.S. Built in 1986, it features Orscheln Farm & Home, Hobby Lobby, Dunham's Sports, TJ Maxx, Hutch Vintage Market, and Ollie's Bargain Outlet as its anchor stores.
Melvin Simon & Associates (now Simon Property Group) first confirmed the mall's development in 1983. [1] Upon opening in March 1985, the mall had six anchor stores: JCPenney, Sears, Dillard's, Service Merchandise, Walmart, and Newman's. Major tenants of the mall upon opening included KB Toys, Kinney Shoes, Claire's, Zales Jewelers, Regis Salon, and B. Dalton. [2] Walmart left the mall in 1994 in favor of a larger store to the northeast. By the end of the year, their former location at the mall was sold to Hobby Lobby. Also by this point, Newman's had closed and was replaced by a larger movie theater, while the existing one inside the mall was converted to additional stores. [3]
In March 2012, Dillards announced that they would close in June of that year. [4] In January of 2014 Sears announced that they would close their store at the mall by April as Sears decided to not renew their lease. [5] During the summer of 2016, Dunham's Sports began hiring for a store the company would put in the mall by October that would replace the Sears. [6] In February of 2017, JCPenney announced that the company would be closing their location at the Hutchinson Mall. [7] At the time of JCPenney's closure, the mall had 36 vacant store fronts. [7] In 2021, the former location of JCPenney was subdivided between Ollie's Bargain Outlet and an antique shop called Hutch Vintage Market. [8]
Northridge Mall is a shopping mall in Salinas, California, the largest in Monterey County. Located off Highway 101 near Boronda Road and North Main Street in the northern part of the city, the single-story structure encompasses 976,913 sq ft (90,758 m2) of retail space. Northridge Mall features more than 110 shops, two restaurants, a fast-food court with eight outlets, a Round One Entertainment, and three department stores including Hobby Lobby, JCPenney, and Macy's with one vacant anchor last occupied by Sears. Lorain County's only enclosed regional mall, it sits on Ohio State Route 57, about 1/8 mile from Interstate 80 and Interstate 90. Anchored by Dunham's Sports, it is a dead mall with only around 20 stores and services.
Great Lakes Mall is a shopping mall in Mentor, Ohio on Mentor Avenue, approximately 20 miles (32 km) northeast of Cleveland. The mall now has 126 stores. The anchor stores are Round 1 Entertainment, Dillard's, Planet Fitness, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. There are 3 vacant anchor stores that were once Sears, Firestone and Macy's. The mall was opened in 1961 as the first developed by Ohio's Edward J. DeBartolo Sr. Later, the mall was expanded to become one of the oldest major enclosed shopping malls in Ohio. Olive Garden, BJ's Brewhouse, Hobby Lobby, Outback Steakhouse, Barnes & Noble and Atlas Cinemas Stadium 16 are located in the mall parking lot. The mall contains 1,249,574 sq ft (116,089 m2). On May 28, 2014, it was announced by Simon Property Group that they would transfer Great Lakes Mall to its new spin off Washington Prime Group. Washington Prime Group later became WP Glimcher and then back to Washington Prime Group. In 2015, Sears Holdings spun off 235 of its properties, including the Sears at Great Lakes Mall, into Seritage Growth Properties. Dillard's North closed in May 2017, consolidating the men and women's sections into one building. Sears closed in September 2017 due to the store's lease ending. Macy's closed in April 2021 due to a plan to close 46 stores nationwide.

Northpark Mall is a super regional mall located in Joplin, Missouri. The mall opened in 1972 with 600,000 square feet, and featured 60 stores, restaurants, and other services. Today, the Northpark mall is 1,080,000 square feet, and features more than 100 inline tenants including a food court. Northpark Mall is the largest mall in the Joplin region and serves a trade area of nearly 500,000 people. Freeman hospital added a soft play area in the Macy's women's court in the summer of 2014. The mall was also the temporary home of the 11th and 12th grades of Joplin High School until August 2014, when the new high school was completed. Northpark Mall is managed by CBL & Associates Properties. The anchor stores are Vintage Stock, TJ Maxx, H&M, JCPenney, and Dunham's Sports. There are three vacant anchor stores that were once two Macy's stores and Sears.

Adrian Mall was an enclosed shopping center serving Adrian, Michigan, United States. It opened in 1970 with JCPenney and Sears as its anchor stores; an expansion in 1985 added Elder-Beerman as a third. The mall remained largely unchanged until the 21st century, at which point many of the stores began closing.
