Urban Tibamanya is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He was the State Minister for Urban Development in the Ugandan Cabinet from 2006 until 2011. [1] Although the cabinet reshuffle of 2009 did not affect his cabinet post, [2] the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011 caused him to be replaced by Justine Lumumba Kasule. [3] He also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Kashari County, Mbarara District, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national election cycle, he lost to Wilberforce Rutashokwa Yaguma in the National Resistance Movement (NRM) political party primaries. He then ran as an Independent candidate, but still lost to Yaguma, who is the current incumbent MP for that constituency. [4]

He was born in Mbarara District on 9 September 1949. His Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws degrees were obtained from Makerere University, Uganda's oldest university. He also holds a Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Center in Kampala.
Tibamanya's long and varied work history began in 1976 when he worked as Senior State Attorney in the Ministry of Justice in Kampala, serving in that capacity until 1982. During that period, he also served as the Administrative Secretary to the Commission of Inquiry into Makerere University Affairs, serving from 1976 until 1978.
From 1982 until 1984, he worked as a Legal Executive in the Nairobi law firm of Kamere & Kamere Advocates. He then moved to London and engaged in private international trade from 1985 until 1986. He worked as the managing director, Stem Limited, from 1986 until 1988. In 1988, he went back to Uganda and started his own law practice, Tibamanya Urban Advocates serving as the Managing Partner from 1988 until 2006.
From 1993 to 1995, he served as a Delegate for Kashari County, Mbarara District, to the Constituent Assembly which drafted the 1995 Ugandan Constitution. From 1998 until 1999, he served as a Commissioner on the Commission of Inquiry into Corruption in the Uganda Police Force. Since 2003, he has served as the chairman of the Board of Governors of St. Andrews Senior Secondary School, Rubindi, Kashari County, Mbarara District. He was appointed to his last cabinet post on 1 June 2006. [1]

Tibamanya is married and has four daughters. He belongs to the NRM political party. His interests include reading, writing, traveling, and ocean swimming.
Ruhakana Rugunda is a Ugandan physician and politician who was Prime Minister of Uganda from 2014 to 2021. He held a long series of cabinet posts under President Yoweri Museveni beginning in 1986. Daniel Omara Atubo is a Ugandan lawyer, educator and politician. He is the former Minister of Lands, Housing and Urban Development, in the Ugandan Cabinet, a position he served in from May 2006 until May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the Cabinet. He represented "Otuke County", in present-day Otuke District in the Ugandan Parliament, between 1987 and 2011. He lost his re-election bid to parliament in March 2011.
Henry Aggrey Bagiire is a Ugandan politician and educator. He served as the State Minister for Agriculture in the Cabinet of Uganda from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP) for Bunya County West, Mayuge District, from 2006 to 2009.
Frederick Douglas Mwanja Mukisa was a Ugandan educator and politician. He served as the State Minister for Fisheries in the Ugandan Cabinet, from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and replaced by Ruth Nankabirwa. He also served in the elected Ugandan Parliament, representing "Bukooli County Central", Bugiri District, from 2006 until 2011. During the 2011 national election cycle, he lost to Hajji Siraji Lyavala during the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries, who in turn lost to Wafula Oguttu of the Forum for Democratic Change, in the general election. In March 2015, Siraji Lyavala was elected Chairman (LC-5) of Bugiri District.
Bright Kanyontore Rwamirama is a Ugandan politician and retired army officer. He is the minister for animal industry in the Ugandan cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, that of 27 May 2011, and that of 1 March 2015, he retained his cabinet post. He also serves as the elected Member of Parliament representing "Isingiro County North", Isingiro District. He has served in that capacity continuously since 2001. and he beat Posiono Mugyenyi in 2021 general election.
Mwesigwa Rukutana, is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He served as Deputy Attorney General of Uganda from 1 March 2015 to January 2020. He replaced Fred Ruhindi, who was appointed Attorney General. He was transferred from attorney general chambers to Minister of State for Labour until June 2021 when he was dropped from the cabinet. He was appointed to the post of deputy attorney general on 1 March 2015, Prior to that, between 27 May 2011 and 1 March 2015, he served as the State Minister for Labor in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to this position on 27 May 2011. He replaced Emmanuel Otala, who was dropped from the Cabinet. Prior to that, he served as the State Minister for Higher Education, from 16 February 2009 until 27 May 2011.

Ruth Nankabirwa Ssentamu is a Ugandan politician, who serves as the Minister of Energy and Mineral Development in the Ugandan Cabinet, effective 8 June 2021. Although she told her supporters "If the cows vote, let them vote, I want to get 120%" she lost her seat as Women MP for Kiboga District in January 2021.
Aston Kajara is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He is the current State Minister of Finance for Privatization in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 27 May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle of 1 March 2015, he retained his cabinet post. Prior to that, from 16 February 2009 until 1 March 2015, he served as the State Minister of Finance for Investments. He is also the elected Member of Parliament (MP), representing Mwenge County South Kyenjojo District. He has represented that constituency in parliament from 2001 until 2006 and from 2011 until now.
MusumbaIsaac Isanga is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He served as the State Minister for Regional Foreign Affairs, from June 2006 until May 2011. In the cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011, he was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Asuman Kiyingi. He also served as the elected Member of Parliament (MP), representing "Buzaaya County", Kamuli District, from 1996 until 2011. During the 2011 national elections, he lost to Muzaale Martin Kisule Mugabi, during the National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries. In 2016, he bounced back into the 10th parliament, representing Buzaaya County, in Kamuli District, on the NRM ticket. Richard Nduhura, sometimes spelled Richard Nduhuura, is a Ugandan politician, diplomat and veterinarian who currently serves as Uganda's Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He was appointed to that position in August 2012. Prior to that, he served as State Minister for Health in the Ugandan Cabinet. He was appointed to that position on 1 June 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post.
Jenipher Kacha Namuyangu, also Jennifer Namuyangu Byakatonda, but commonly referred to as Jennifer Namuyangu, is a Ugandan politician and environmentalist. She belongs to the National Resistance Movement political party. She is the Minister of State for Local Government in the Ugandan Cabinet. She was appointed to that position on 6 June 2016. She previously served as the Minister of State for Water Resources, from 1 June 2006 until 27 May 2011. In the Cabinet reshuffle on 27 May 2011, she was dropped from the cabinet and was replaced by Betty Bigombe. She also served as the elected Member of Parliament for Pallisa District Women's Representative, from 2001 until 2011. In 2010, Pallisa District was split into two, to create Kibuku District. Namuyangu contested for the parliamentary seat of Kibuku County, Kibuku District. She lost to Saleh Kamba by a wide margin.
Fredrick Ruhindi, more commonly known as Freddie Ruhindi or Fred Ruhindi, is a Ugandan lawyer and politician. He was Attorney General of Uganda from 1 March 2015 to 2016. Between 2 June 2006 and 28 February 2015, he served as the State Minister for Justice & Constitutional Affairs in the Ugandan Cabinet. He has served in that capacity since 2006. In the cabinet reshuffle of 16 February 2009, and that of 27 May 2011, he retained his cabinet post. He is also the elected Member of Parliament representing Nakawa Division in Kampala District.
Geraldine Namirembe Bitamazire is a Ugandan academic and politician. She is the Chancellor of the Uganda Management Institute. She was minister of education from 1979 to 1980 and again from 2005 to 2011. She also served as the member of parliament representing Mpigi District women in the Ugandan Parliament from 2001 to 2011.

Mariam Najjemba Mbabaali, formerly known as Rosemary Najjemba Muyinda is a Ugandan politician. She served as the State Minister for Urban Planning in the Ugandan Cabinet from 15 August 2012, until 6 June 2016, when she was dropped from cabinet. In the cabinet, she replaced Justine Lumumba Kasule, who was appointed Government Chief Whip. Najjemba served as the elected Member of Parliament for Gomba County, Gomba District on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) political party ticket, for two consecutive terms, from 2006 until 2016.

Sarah Ndoboli Kataike is a Ugandan politician. She is the current State Minister for Luweero Triangle, in the Cabinet of Uganda. She was appointed to that position on 25 July 2013. Prior to that, from 15 August 2012 until 25 July 2013, she served as the State Minister of Health for General Duties. She replaced Richard Nduhura, who was appointed Uganda's Ambassador to the United Nations. She is also the elected Member of Parliament for Budaka District Women's Constituency on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) political party ticket.
