VIP Brother 9, also known as Любовта е във VIP Brother (lit. Love is in the VIP Brother) [1] was ninth season of the Bulgarian reality television series VIP Brother , hosted by Niki Kanchev. The show launched on 11 September 2017 on Nova TV. [2] Niki Kanchev, Aleksandra Sarchadjieva and Miglena Angelova [3] [4] are the main presenters. It concluded 61 days later on 10 November 2017. Yonislav Yotov "Toto" won with Margarita Hranova as the runner-up.
16 housemates entered the house on Day 1. They were joined by 2 other housemates on Day 2, who were allowed by Big Brother to participate as a single contestant on Day 11.
Aleksandra Bogdanska is a model, TV host and the former girlfriend of Daniel P. (the two later married in the house). Seven years later, she is the host of Big Brother 6. She entered the house on Day 1 and finished fourth in the finale on Day 61.
Aleksandra Dimitrova "Aleks" is a pop singer, known for being a contestant on the second season of X Factor . She and Vladislava are twin sisters. Aleksandra D. entered the house on Day 2. The twin sisters entered the house as single contestants. On Day 8, Vladislava faced a fake eviction. She was offered by Big Brother to return to the house to perform secret missions for him with Aleks. During their secret task, it was Aleks's identity, under which they had to live - Vladi was with the other housemates, pretending to be Aleks, while Aleks was in the secret room of the house. The twins were swapping their places in the house and their task was to trick the others that they were one and the same person. If the girls failed with their assigned task, they would be immediately evicted from the show. Aleksandra D. and Vladislava failed with their secret mission. Despite that, Big Brother let them stay in the house and they were given the opportunity to compete as a single contestant. The twins are the first housemates of the season to be evicted, on Day 15.
Alfredo Tores is a dancer and choreographеr. He entered the house on Day 1 and was the sixth evicted on Day 50.
Angie Kassabie is a nutritionist. She was born in Lebanon. She entered the house on Day 1 and was the tenth evicted on Day 59.

Daniel Zlatkov is a footballer who plays as a defender for Shakhtyor Soligorsk in the Belarusian Premier League. He is also known as the Bulgarian version of Ronaldo, because he looks like the famous footballer. He entered the house on Day 1 and was the seventh evicted on Day 57.
Djuliana Gani is a model and the winner of the title "Miss Silicone 2013". She entered the house on Day 1 and finished fifth in the finale on Day 61.
Margarita Hranova is a famous pop singer. She entered the house on Day 1 and finished second in the finale on Day 61.
Maria Kirova is a pop-folk singer. She entered the house on Day 1 and decided to walk out of the house on Day 22.

Big Brother is a reality competition television franchise created by John de Mol Jr., first broadcast in the Netherlands in 1999 and subsequently syndicated internationally. The show features contestants called "housemates" or "HouseGuests" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The name is inspired by Big Brother from George Orwell's novel Nineteen Eighty-Four, and the housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, they are voted out until only one remains and wins the cash prize.
Big Brother is a reality show based on the Big Brother series by Endemol. The show originates from the Netherlands, where in 1999 the first season was aired.
VIP Brother 1 was the first season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. In it, the Housemates are only famous people. The show follows the original Big Brother rules, but with some changes. For example, in VIP Brother, the show's duration is shortened to a month. The nominations and evictions are twice a week.
Veliki Brat 2006 was the first season of Serbian version of Big Brother. The show premiered on 15 September 2006 and ran for 107 days, concluding on 31 December 2006. 14 housemates entered the house on Day 1. During the season, five more housemates were brought in. The winner of the season is Ivan Ljuba, a medical student and pianist from Belgrade. The season quickly became a ratings hit on Serbian television, but has also received plenty of criticism.
Big Brother Portugal is the Portuguese version of the international reality television franchise Big Brother, produced by Endemol for Portuguese channel TVI. TVI launched the show in 2000. Since its beginning, it has been a great success.

Big Brother 3 was the third season of the reality show Big Brother in Bulgaria. It was aired on Nova Television and Nova+. The show launched on 18 September 2006 and ended on 11 December 2006. Originally, the season was planned to air for 11 weeks, 2 weeks shorter than the previous two seasons. However, the season was extended by 7 days and aired for 85 days in total. For the first time, the show was only hosted by Niki Kanchev.
VIP Brother 3 was the third season of the celebrity version of the Bulgarian reality television show Big Brother. It was launched on Nova Television on 16 March 2009, and ended on 10 May 2009 with an eleven-hour season finale starting at 3:00 pm and finishing after 1:00 am.
Big Brother Family was the first family edition of the reality show Big Brother in Bulgaria, it was initially referred to as Big Brother 5. It was also the first family season all over the world. The show launched on Nova Television on 22 March 2010 and continued for 3 months, ended on 10 June. This was the shortest regular Big Brother season in Bulgaria so far, lasted for 81 Days.
Secret Story 5 is the fifth edition of the French reality show Secret Story. It started on July 8 at 8:45 pm on TF1 and concluded on October 14, 2011, lasting 98 days. The winner of this season is Marie Garet.
VIP Brother 4, also referred to as VIP Brother 2012 was the fourth season of the reality show VIP Brother in Bulgaria and the ninth season of the Big Brother format overall. It commenced on Nova Television on September 16, 2012, and lasted for two months, ending on November 17, 2012. It was immediately followed by an All-Stars edition. It was the first season to air more than two years after the family edition and more than three years after the third celebrity edition. Niki Kanchev returned as the show's main presenter for the Live shows on Monday on Wednesday, with Aleksandra Sarchadjieva being the presenter for the daily episodes.

Big Brother All-Stars was the first season of the All-Star spin-off of Big Brother and the tenth season of the Big Brother format in Bulgaria overall and featured housemates from previous seasons of the show, as well as from other reality formats such as Music Idol, Survivor and X Factor. The all-star edition commenced on 19 November 2012 on Nova Television right after the fourth-season finale of VIP Brother and lasted for a total of 29 days, ended on 17 December 2012. Together with VIP Brother 1 it holds the record for shortest season of the format in Bulgaria so far. Nikola Nasteski "Lester" won with Nayden Naydenov "Ned" as the runner-up.
Veliki Brat 2015, also known as Veliki Brat 5 is the fifth season of the television reality show Veliki Brat, the Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Macedonian joint version of Big Brother. This season is the fifth season of the show in Serbia and seventh overall in Croatia - for both a first season after the show went on a two-year hiatus. The show is broadcast by RTL for Croatia, B92 and Prva TV for Serbia, OBN and BN for Bosnia & Herzegovina, Sitel for Macedonia and Prva for Montenegro.

The show launched on 11 September 2016 on Nova TV. Niki Kanchev and Aleksandra Sarchadjieva were the main presenters. It concluded 62 days later on 11 November 2016. Miglena Angelova won with Petar Bachvarov "Uti" as the runner-up.

Big Brother: Most Wanted 2017, also known as Big Brother All Stars 2017 was the fifth season of the All-Star spin-off of Big Brother and the twentieth season of the format in Bulgaria overall. It was announced on November 3, 2017. Followed the same air schedule as in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015, it commenced on Nova Television on 13 November 2017, immediately after the VIP Brother 9 finale and lasted for a month, ending on 11 December 2017. It featured housemates from previous seasons of the show, as well as participants from other reality formats. Georgi "Gino" Tashev won with Konstantin Slavchev as the runner-up.

The show launched on 10 September 2018 on Nova TV and concluded 54 days later, on 2 November 2018. Atanas Kolev won, while Konstantin Trendafilov "Papi Hans" was the runner-up. Niki Kanchev, Aleksandra Sarchadjieva and Azis were the main presenters.
