Valdemir dos Santos Pereira (born November 15, 1974, in Cruz das Almas, Bahia) is a Brazilian former professional boxer who competed from 2001 to 2006 and held the IBF featherweight title in 2006. As an amateur Pereira represented Brazil at the 2000 Olympics, reaching the round of 16 of the featherweight bracket.
As an amateur, Pereira fought as a Featherweight for the Brazilian Olympic Team at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney:
Known as "Sertão", Pereira turned pro in 2001 and won the vacant IBF Featherweight Title with a decision victory over Fahprakorb Rakkiatgym in January 2006. [1] He lost the title in his first defense, via disqualification against Eric Aiken later that year, due to excessive low blows. [2] A rematch was scheduled but never materialized. He is now living at Cruz das Almas, Bahia, Brazil.

José Miguel Cotto Vázquez is a Puerto Rican professional boxer and a four-time regional level champion. He is the brother of six-time world boxing champion Miguel Cotto and the cousin of lightweight contender Abner Cotto.
Christopher Cornelius Byrd is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1993 to 2009. He is a two-time world heavyweight champion, having first won the WBO title in 2000 after an upset corner stoppage over then-undefeated Vitali Klitschko. In his first title defense later that year, he lost to Vitali's brother Wladimir Klitschko. In 2002, Byrd defeated Evander Holyfield to win the IBF heavyweight title for his second reign as world champion. He made four successful defenses until losing his title again to Wladimir Klitschko in a 2006 rematch. He was ranked by BoxRec in the world's top 10 heavyweight from 1998 to 2004, reaching his highest ranking of No.3 in 2000.
Troy Glenn Dorsey is a former U.S. boxer and kickboxer who competed in the bantamweight, featherweight and lightweight divisions. Known predominantly for his physical endurance and power, Dorsey began his martial arts training in karate and taekwondo at the age of ten before later making the switch to full contact kickboxing. He was a three-time kickboxing world champion as well as a gold medalist of the WAKO Amateur World Championships in both 1985 (London) and 1987 (Munich).
