Vanasthali is a census town in Tonk district in the Indian state of Rajasthan.

A census town is a type of town that satisfies certain characteristics, depending on the country in which it is located.

Tonk District is a district of the state of Rajasthan in western India. The city of Tonk is the administrative headquarters of the district. The district is bounded on the north by Jaipur district, on the east by Sawai Madhopur district, on the southeast by Kota district, on the south by Bundi district, on the southwest by Bhilwara district, and on the west by Ajmer district.

As of 2001 India census, [1] Vanasthali had a population of 6,676. Males constitute 31% of the population and females 69%. Vanasthali has an average literacy rate of 82%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 77%, and female literacy is 84%. In Vanasthali, 9% of the population is under 6 years of age.
