Kent was a Swedish alternative rock band, formed in Eskilstuna in 1990. With members Joakim Berg, Martin Sköld, Sami Sirviö and Markus Mustonen, the band had numerous radio hits throughout Sweden and Scandinavia and consecutive number-one studio albums on the Sweden top list (Sverigetopplistan) beginning with the release of Verkligen (1996) and led by the single "Kräm ". With origins rooted in distorted rock, they found mainstream success through their alternative rock albums of the mid-1990s, 2000s and 2010s, the latter decades during which they adopted elements of synthpop. With eleven number-one albums, five number-one singles, 23 Swedish Grammy Awards, and over three million record sales, Kent is considered the most popular rock/pop group within Sweden and throughout Scandinavia. Vapen & ammunition (2002) topped the Swedish charts for eight weeks. Kent is often compared to bands like U2 and Coldplay.

The Grammis are music awards presented annually to musicians and songwriters in Sweden. The oldest Swedish music awards, they were instituted as a local equivalent of the Grammy Awards given in the United States. The awards ceremony is generally held each year in February in Stockholm. The awards were established in 1969 and awarded until 1972 when they were cancelled, then revived in 1987.
Sven-Bertil Gunnar Evert Taube was a Swedish singer and actor. Internationally, he was perhaps better known for his acting career. Taube played Henrik Vanger in the film The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and the lead role in Puppet on a Chain.
Frida 1967–1972 is a compilation album by Swedish singer Anni-Frid Lyngstad, released in 1997 by EMI Sweden. The album features Lyngstad's anthology of her solo recordings prior to ABBA, which includes the A and B sides of ten 7" singles, and rare television and radio performances from this period, as well as her debut album, Frida.
Allting som ni gör kan jag göra bättre is the eighth studio album by Swedish pop and rock artist Magnus Uggla. It was released in 1987. The album consists only of cover songs. The title is a reference to both the fact that the entire album is cover songs, "you" being the original artists, and also a call-back to the musical Annie Get Your Gun. Most of the songs are famous recordings from the progg era.
Sanna Viktoria Nielsen is a Swedish singer and television presenter. On her seventh attempt, she won Melodifestivalen in 2014 with the song "Undo" and so represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen, Denmark, finishing in 3rd place overall. Sanna was one of the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 commentators for Sweden and hosted Melodifestivalen 2015 along with comedian Robin Paulsson. She was announced as the new presenter for the sing-along show Allsång på Skansen for the summer of 2016. She hosted Eurovision The Party at the Tele2 Arena for the Eurovision Song Contest 2016.
Måns Petter Albert Sahlén Zelmerlöw is a Swedish pop singer and television presenter. He took part in Idol 2005, eventually finishing fifth, won the first season of Let's Dance, and scored a hit with his 2007 song "Cara Mia", which was his entry in that year's Melodifestivalen. Zelmerlöw was the host of Allsång på Skansen from 2011 to 2013. He participated in Melodifestivalen in 2007, 2009 and won in 2015. Zelmerlöw represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Heroes", winning the contest with 365 points. Zelmerlöw and Petra Mede co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 held in Stockholm.
"Electric" is a song by Swedish singer Robyn from her second studio album, My Truth (1999). It was released as the album's lead single on 29 April 1999 by BMG Sweden. Robyn wrote the track in collaboration with its producers Ulf Lindström and Johan Ekhé. The single artwork features the singer wearing a feather headpiece designed by Sebastian Wahl. Musically, "Electric" is an electronic funk song, and the lyrics address unexpected life events that make one feel alive.
Monica Kristina Ingeborg Törnell is a Swedish singer and songwriter. After being discovered by Cornelis Vreeswijk 1971, she was a prominent singer in several genres, mainly folk and rock music, for over two decades. Together with Lasse Holm, she represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest 1986 in Bergen, Norway. She is the mother of Tobias and Mattias Törnell.

Nådens år is the third studio album by the Swedish rock artist Ulf Lundell. It was released in April 1978 on EMI and Parlophone. It was recorded in EMI Studio, Stockholm, and produced by Kjell Andersson and Lundell. It includes "Snön faller och vi med den", one of Lundell's more famous songs. Agnetha Fältskog is involved in the song. The cover picture shows Lundell sitting on a rock next to a dog and it was taken in Åre in 1977. Nådens år achieved Gold status in Sweden.
Sanna Cecilia Lundell is a Swedish freelance journalist and television presenter. She is the daughter of the singer Ulf Lundell. She has done journalistic work for the magazines Mama, M-Magasin, Hennes, and the Aftonbladet newspaper. She has also been working as a television presenter at TV3 with shows such as Sanning och konsekvens along with Robert Aschberg, and Stalkers with Hasse Aro. Since June 2013 she has been presenting the documentary series TV3 Dokumentär. She participated as a celebrity contestant in Let's Dance 2019, which was broadcast on TV4
Rent förbannat is a 2012 double studio album by Ulf Lundell. Shortly after the album release, Lundell performed the song "Är vi lyckliga nu?" at Skavlan. The album peaked at number one in Sweden and number 13 in Norway.
Nu! is the eighth and final studio album by Swedish singer-songwriter Marie Fredriksson, released on 20 November 2013 by Parlophone in conjunction with Fredriksson's own label Amelia Music. It was her first album of original Swedish material since 1996's I en tid som var, and was produced by Fredriksson alongside her husband Mikael Bolyos and Christoffer Lundquist. The record contains writing contributions from Uno Svenningsson, Kenneth Gärdestad, Lustans Lakejer vocalist Johan Kinde, and Fredriksson's Roxette partner Per Gessle.
