Vasishta Simha is an Indian actor and playback singer who primarily appears in Kannada films. He is known for playing villain roles, including the role of Kamal in K.G.F (2018-22). [1]

Career

In 2011, Vasishta quit his job as a software engineer and decided to enter the Kannada film industry as an actor. He initially worked on an unreleased film titled Hubballi Hudagaru, before having his first release with Arya's Love (2013). He subsequently made a breakthrough with his role as the main antagonist in Raja Huli (2013), a remake of the Tamil film, Sundarapandian (2012). He later also appeared in Rudra Tandava (2014), a remake of the Tamil film Pandiya Naadu (2013). [2]

Vasishta then appeared in JKS's bilingual film, Alone , in a leading role alongside Nikesha Patel. Portraying the male lead, the actor managed to get an introduction into the Tamil film industry and the film won mixed reviews. [3] [4] He made his Telugu debut with the film Narappa in 2021. In K.G.F, Vasishta played the role of Bangalore-based gangster Kamal, one of the major antagonists in the film.

Dayavittu Gamanisi is a 2017 Indian Kannada-language satirical film written, directed by Rohit Padaki, making his debut in direction. Krishna Sarthak is the main producer. It stars an ensemble cast including Raghu Mukherjee, Samyukta Hornad, Sukrutha Wagle, Vasishta N. Simha, Prakash Belawadi, Rajesh Nataranga, Bhavana Rao, Sangeetha Bhat. The film score and soundtrack for the film are composed by Anoop Seelin, and the cinematography was handled by Aravind Kashyap. Raj Narayan is an Indian actor who works in predominantly Kannada and English-language films. He is known for playing one of the leads in U Turn (2016).

Ramachandra Raju, better known as Garuda Ram, is an Indian actor who primarily appears in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. He rose to fame for his role as the antagonist Garuda in the K.G.F: Chapter 1 and for his dominant screen presence.
