Vasuki Vaibhav is an Indian composer and singer, music director, Actor known for his work in Kannada-language films. Vaibhav gained recognition after appearing in Rama Rama Re (2016). He was the second runner-up of Big Boss Kannada Season 7 .

Career

Vasuki started as a theatre artist and started to sing, compose, write lyrics, act and has even produced plays. [1] His breakthrough in Kannada cinema was in the 2016 film Rama Rama Re . [2] His work in Sarkari Hi. Pra. Shaale Kasaragodu Koduge: Ramanna Rai was praised by both audience and critics. [3]

Filmfare Awards South is the South Indian segment of the annual Filmfare Awards. They are presented by Filmfare magazine to honour artistic and technical excellence in the Indian film industry encompassing four languages: Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. When it was introduced in 1954, the Filmfare Awards initially only recognized achievements in the Hindi film industry. The Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award is and award presented annually by the Filmfare magazine as part of its annual Filmfare Awards South for Kannada films. It is given in honor of an actor who has delivered an outstanding performance in a supporting role while working within the Kannada film industry. Although the awards for Kannada films started in 1970, awards for the best supporting actor category started only in 2007. At the 54th Filmfare Awards South ceremony held in 2007, Rangayana Raghu was the first winner of this award for his role in Cyanide. Since its inception, the award has been given to eight actors. Achyuth Kumar has received the most awards in this category with three awards.

It is a story of a convict on death row, who escapes from prison and accidentally ends up traveling with a retired veteran of a Police Department, who is called upon by the authorities to teach the process of executing a convict to the new staff. Rama Rama Re... was released on 21 October 2016. The film was remade in Telugu in 2018 as Aatagadharaa Siva by Rockline Venkatesh. The film is currently being remade in Marathi.
