Venugopalaswamy Temple, Ganapathy [1] is a Vaishnavite temple in the neighbourhood viz., Ganapathy, in Coimbatore district in Tamil Nadu of India. The neighbourhood Ganapathy was named so, on the basis of a Ganapathy temple, viz., Kottai Ganapathy which was built 1,000 years ago, in front of this temple.[ citation needed ]

The King of Mysore, of Yadava heritage, made arrangements to construct this temple, 1,000 years ago. [2] Renovations were made in the year 1764 by King of Madaya Udayar heritage.

The place where this temple is constructed, was called in ancient times as 'Thirukulandhai' and then 'Thirukkulathur' and nowadays as 'Kolathur'. Saint cum poet Madhava Sivagnanam of 'Thiruvavadudurai Adheenam' who lived in the sixteenth century wrote poems viz., 'Somesar Mudhumollhi Venbaa', 'Kulathur Pathitruppathandhathi' and 'Amuthambigai Pillaiththamillh' for the deities of this temple.
Srinivasa Perumal Temple, Egmore which is maintained under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, is a Perumal temple situated in Egmore neighbourhood in Chennai district of Tamil Nadu in India. It was previously called as Lakshmi Narayana Perumal Temple and hence the name Lakshmi Narayana Perumal street, where the temple is located. This temple is 600 years old. The presiding deity is Srinivasa Perumal. Goddess is Padmavathi. 'Vimanam' above the sanctum is said as 'Anantha Vimanam'. The temple tower is of 3 tiers. Balipeedam, Dwajasthambam and Garudaazhwaar shrine are found facing the sanctum. The main deity is in the standing posture. Upper hand on the right side holds the Chakra, and on the left side, the sangu is held and on the lower hand at left side shows 'kati hasta' and right side shows 'abhaya mudra'. Sages such as Visvamithra, Gowthama and Sthuthi worshipped this temple.
Ulagalandha Perumal Temple is a Vaishnavite temple in Singanallur neighbourhood of Coimbatore district in the state of Tamil Nadu in the peninsular India. It is also called as 'Sree Three Vikrama Narayana Swamy temple'. Moolavar is Ulagalandha Perumal. Utsav deity is also Ulagalandha Perumal. Utsav goddesses are Sridevi and Bhoodevi. Viruksha is Vanni tree. Poojas are performed on the basis of Pancharatram Ahama. It was built by Chola Karaikalan, 180 years ago. Moolavar is made up of 'Panchloha' and it poses facing north. The utsav deity is also made up of Panchloha. Moolavar is in a standing posture, with his right leg on the ground and his left leg facing the sky. Out of his eight hands, six of them carry different weapons and the other two with the signs that bless the devotees. Renovation works were carried out in the year 2000. In the year 2005, Kumbabhishek was performed for the 7-tiered giant tower.
Pathala Ponniamman Temple is an Amman temple located in the neighbourhood of Kilpauk in Chennai district of Tamil Nadu in India. This temple is under the control of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department.
