Verdalen is a village in Klepp municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located immediately northwest of the municipal centre of Kleppe, south of the village of Voll, and east of the village of Bore. The residential village of Verdalen has grown together with Kleppe since around 2000, forming one large 3.19-square-kilometre (1.23 sq mi) urban area with a population of 9,245 people in 2019. Bore is a village in Klepp municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) northwest of the municipal centre of Kleppe. The village lies between the river Figgjoelva, the lake Orrevatnet, and the seashore. Bore Church sits just north of the river, just outside of the village. The Bore area is well known for its sandy beaches along the seashore.

The church is part of the Klepp parish in the Jæren deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. The white, wooden church was built in 1846 using plans by the architect Hans Linstow. Frøyland og Orstad Church is a parish church in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Orstad in Klepp municipality. The church is part of the Frøyland og Orstad parish in the Jæren deanery in the Diocese of Stavanger. This parish is unique in Norway since it includes parts of two municipalities: Klepp and Time, encompassing the whole Kvernaland area. The stone/brick church was built in 2008 by the architects René de Groth, Erik Thesen, and Kolbjørn Jensen, from the firm LINK signatur. The church seats about 630 people and it was consecrated on 14 December 2008. The church cost 62.5 million kr. The church is the first church in the Church of Norway to have a baptismal pool in addition to a baptismal font.
