Verevi is a village in Elva Parish, Tartu County, in southern Estonia. It has a population of 38 (as of 1 January 2010). [1]
Verevi is bordered to the west by Lake Võrtsjärv, to the north by Emajõgi River, to the east by Sangla bog and to the south by Suure-Rakke village. The Tartu–Viljandi road (nr. 92) passes Verevi on its western side, just before Võrtsjärv
Verevi was first mentioned in 1582 as Werva Wielka. But the place itself was inhabited a long time before, as proven by ancient gravesites. [2]

Alam-Pedja Nature Reserve is the largest nature reserve in Estonia. It is a vast wilderness area which covers 342 km2 and consists of a complex of 5 large bogs separated by unregulated rivers, their floodplains, and extensive forests. The Pedja is the fourth longest river in Estonia. Its source is near Simuna on the southern slopes of the Pandivere Upland. Koidu is a village in Viljandi Parish, Viljandi County, Estonia. Until the 2017 administrative reform of Estonian municipalities the village was located in Tarvastu Parish. Koidu is located 19 km southeast of the village of Viljandi, 2.6 km northwest of the small borough of Mustla, near the western shore of Lake Võrtsjärv. Neighboring villages include Ülensi, Vanausse and Porsa. The population of Koidu as of 2011 was 66, a decrease from 91 in the 2000 census.
