Veronica Grymonprez (born 17 January 1944) is a Belgian gymnast. She competed at the 1960 Summer Olympics and the 1964 Summer Olympics. [1]

Gymnastics is a sport that includes exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. Alertness, precision, daring, self-confidence, and self-discipline are mental traits that can also be developed through gymnastics. Gymnastics evolved from exercises used by the ancient Greeks that included skills for mounting and dismounting a horse, and from circus performance skills.

The 1960 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XVII Olympiad, was an international multi-sport event that was held from August 25 to September 11, 1960, in Rome, Italy. The city of Rome had previously been awarded the administration of the 1908 Summer Olympics, but following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 1906, Rome had no choice but to decline and pass the honour to London.

The 1964 Summer Olympics, officially known as the Games of the XVIII Olympiad, was an international multi-sport event held in Tokyo, Japan, from 10 to 24 October 1964. Tokyo had been awarded the organization of the 1940 Summer Olympics, but this honour was subsequently passed to Helsinki because of Japan's invasion of China, before ultimately being cancelled because of World War II.

She challenged seven other swimmers on the sixth heat, including returning Olympian Ellen Lendra Hight of Zambia. She raced to fifth place by 0.28 of a second behind Christel Simms of the Philippines, with a time of 26.92 seconds. Vdovicenco failed to advance into the semifinals, as she placed fiftieth out of 92 swimmers in the preliminary heats.

Verónica Abigail Colindres García is a female Salvadoran race walker. She won a silver medal for the 20 km at the 2009 Pan American Race Walking Cup in San Salvador, with a time of 1:39:45.

Veronica Calabrese is an Italian taekwondo practitioner. She won two bronze medals for the 57 and 59 kg classes at the European Taekwondo Championships. She also captured a silver medal in the same division at the 2009 World Taekwondo Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark, losing out to China's Hou Yuzhuo.
