Veska is a shopping mall in the Partola district of Pirkkala, Finland. Its original part was completed in 2003 [1] and the expansion part in early 2017. [2] After the construction of the expansion part the mall was renovated, which was completed in November 2018. [3] Veska has two floors and over 30 stores. [4] A hotel named Veska Hotelli has also been planned in connection to the mall, whose construction would begin in 2020 at the earliest. [5]

The new building in the shopping center is largely located on the former pier area of the bus station. The shopping center is also accessible directly from the bus station via escalators. The developer is Sponda, which was selected as the contractor by the City Board in April 2006. The consortium of Citycon Oyj and Skanska, YIT and NCC also submitted their bids.

Koskikeskus is a shopping center in Kyttälä, Tampere, Finland, next to Sokos Hotel Ilves. It was opened in March 1988, when it was the largest shopping center in Finland at the time. The shopping center and the adjacent Hotel Ilves were built on the site of the old Verkatehdas.

Sarankulma

Sarankulma is a district located in the southern part of Tampere, Finland. It borders Härmälä in the north, Peltolammi in the east and the Pirkkala's municipal border in the west. There is industry in the area and former editorial office of Aamulehti was previously located in Sarankulma. The Pärrinkoski's nature conservation area is located on the southern border of Sarankulma.
