Veska is a shopping mall in the Partola district of Pirkkala, Finland. Its original part was completed in 2003 [1] and the expansion part in early 2017. [2] After the construction of the expansion part the mall was renovated, which was completed in November 2018. [3] Veska has two floors and over 30 stores. [4] A hotel named Veska Hotelli has also been planned in connection to the mall, whose construction would begin in 2020 at the earliest. [5]
Tampere is a city in Pirkanmaa in the western part of Finland. Tampere is the most populous inland city in the Nordic countries; it has a population of 238,140 with the urban area holding 334,112 people and the metropolitan area, also known as the Tampere sub-region, holding 385,301 inhabitants in an area of 4,970 km2 (1,920 sq mi). The duo has three large grocery stores: Lidl, S-market and K-Supermarket. In addition, there are Alko and Tokmanni as well as restaurants, specialty shops and other commercial services. There is an underground parking garage on the ground floor. There is a total of 11,700 square meters of retail space for rent in the shopping center.

A special feature of the center is mentioned that the city services and commercial services operate in the same building. Goodman is a shopping center located in the Hämeensaari district of the Hämeenlinna city center in Tavastia Proper, Finland, and it was opened on October 30, 2014. It is located on a pavement built above Highway 3, which runs through the city as a motorway. There are about 70 stores in the shopping center, many of which are new in Hämeenlinna. In the initial phase, the shopping center was implemented by the city of Hämeenlinna, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency, the Häme Ely Center, HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences and the construction company NCC.
Hertsi is a shopping center located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, Finland, the construction of which was completed in the spring of 2020. It is located along Itäväylä, quite close to Herttoniemi metro station. In addition to grocery stores and restaurants, the shopping center includes a library, youth facilities and a kindergarten to be opened later. The previously built shopping center Megahertsi is part of the center. In 2021, three apartment buildings with a total of 250 apartments will be completed on the shopping center site.
Ratina is a shopping center in Finland, opened in the heart of Tampere on 19 April 2018, construction of which began in April 2015. Ratina is Tampere's largest shopping center with 53,000 square meters of retail space, offering groceries, fashion, interior design, wellness and leisure services, as well as cafés and restaurants. Under it, a parking space for more than 1,200 cars has been built, which is the largest parking garage in the center of Tampere. The Ratina shopping center is built between Ratina Stadium and the Tampere Bus Station, and there is also an underground connection to the bus station below the Vuolteenkatu street. The new building in the shopping center is largely located on the former pier area of the bus station. The shopping center is also accessible directly from the bus station via escalators. The developer is Sponda, which was selected as the contractor by the City Board in April 2006. The consortium of Citycon Oyj and Skanska, YIT and NCC also submitted their bids.
Koskikeskus is a shopping center in Kyttälä, Tampere, Finland, next to Sokos Hotel Ilves. It was opened in March 1988, when it was the largest shopping center in Finland at the time. The shopping center and the adjacent Hotel Ilves were built on the site of the old Verkatehdas.
Sarankulma is a district located in the southern part of Tampere, Finland. It borders Härmälä in the north, Peltolammi in the east and the Pirkkala's municipal border in the west. There is industry in the area and former editorial office of Aamulehti was previously located in Sarankulma. The Pärrinkoski's nature conservation area is located on the southern border of Sarankulma.
