Tampere is a city in the Pirkanmaa region, located in the western part of Finland. Tampere is the most populous inland city in the Nordic countries. It has a population of 254,198; the urban area has a population of 341,696; and the metropolitan area, also known as the Tampere sub-region, has a population of 415,496 in an area of 4,970 km2 (1,920 sq mi). Tampere is the second largest urban area and the third most populous single municipality in Finland, after the cities of Helsinki and Espoo, and the most populous Finnish city outside the Helsinki Metropolitan Area. Today, Tampere is one of the most important urban, economic and cultural centres in the entire inland region.
Kuopio is a Finnish city and municipality located in the region of Northern Savonia. It has a population of 123,818, which makes it the 8th most populous municipality in Finland. Along with Joensuu, Kuopio is one of the major urban, economic, and cultural hubs of Eastern Finland. At the end of 2018, its urban area had a population of 89,307.

In the 2010s, Klaukkala's urban area grew to be part of the larger Helsinki urban area.
Finnish national road 3 is a highway in Finland between Helsinki and Vaasa via Hämeenlinna and Tampere. The road is 424 kilometres (263 mi) long and it is part of the European route E12. 180 kilometres (110 mi) of the highway is motorway, connecting Helsinki to Tampere. North of Tampere, the road is mostly two-lane road, with a share of 2+1 road. The busiest point on Highway 3 is in Helsinki, north of the Ring I junction, where the average traffic volume is about 90,000 vehicles per day.
Munkkivuori is a quarter of the Munkkiniemi neighbourhood in Helsinki. The buildings and the plan of site are typical of the late 1950s. Most of the residential buildings in Munkkivuori are within a loop formed by Ulvilantie ring road. The automotive traffic to the residential buildings is routed along Ulvilantie whereas Raumantie no through road terminating in the center of the Ulvilantie loop provides access to public services and limits the through-traffic in residential areas. A designed network of crushed stone walkways provides easy accessibility around Munkkivuori for cyclists, pedestrians and other non-automotive traffic.
Nokia Arena, also known by its non-sponsored name Tampere Deck Arena, is an indoor arena in Tampere, Finland, which hosts ice hockey games, including the 2022 Men's World Championship, and large cultural events. It is the home arena of Ilves and Tappara of the SM-liiga. Its construction was approved by the City Council of Tampere on 19 May 2010, and it was officially opened on 3 December 2021.
Redi is a shopping centre in Kalasatama, Helsinki, Finland. With its gross leasable area of 64,000 square metres (690,000 sq ft), it is the eighth largest shopping centre in Finland.
Easton Helsinki is a shopping centre in Itäkeskus, Helsinki, Finland. It is connected to the Itis shopping centre through the Hansasilta bridge. Easton Helsinki is built in phases, and its first part was opened on 26 October 2017. There is an option to expand the shopping centre by building a second part, but no decision of building it has been made yet.
DUO is a shopping center located in Hervanta, Tampere, Finland. Its original part was designed by the architects Raili and Reima Pietilä, and was completed in the autumn of 1979. The duo has three large grocery stores: Lidl, S-market and K-Supermarket. In addition, there are Alko and Tokmanni as well as restaurants, specialty shops and other commercial services. There is an underground parking garage on the ground floor. There is a total of 11,700 square meters of retail space for rent in the shopping center.
Goodman is a shopping center located in the Hämeensaari district of the Hämeenlinna city center in Tavastia Proper, Finland, and it was opened on October 30, 2014. It is located on a deck built above Highway 3, which runs through the city as a motorway. There are about 70 stores in the shopping center, many of which are new in Hämeenlinna. In the initial phase, the shopping center was implemented by the city of Hämeenlinna, the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency, the Häme Ely Center, HAMK Häme University of Applied Sciences and the construction company NCC.
Hertsi is a shopping center located in Herttoniemi, Helsinki, Finland, the construction of which was completed in the spring of 2020. It is located along Itäväylä, quite close to Herttoniemi metro station. In addition to grocery stores and restaurants, the shopping center includes a library, youth facilities and a kindergarten to be opened later. The previously built shopping center Megahertsi is part of the center. In 2021, three apartment buildings with a total of 250 apartments will be completed on the shopping center site.
Grani is a shopping center located in the town center of Kauniainen in Uusimaa, Finland. It has expanded in three phases, the first being commissioned in 2001 and the third in 2018. Grani was originally owned by NCC, until in 2003 the Finnish company Oy Querenchia Ltd became the new owner and in 2006 the German company Aareal. Of the three parts, two newer are owned by VVT Kiinteistösijoitus Oy. Grani's stores include the grocery stores S-market and K-Supermarket.
Ratina is a shopping center in Finland, opened in the heart of Tampere on 19 April 2018, construction of which began in April 2015. Ratina is Tampere's largest shopping center with 53,000 square meters of retail space, offering groceries, fashion, interior design, wellness and leisure services, as well as cafés and restaurants. Under it, a parking space for more than 1,200 cars has been built, which is the largest parking garage in the center of Tampere.
Koskikeskus is a shopping center in Kyttälä, Tampere, Finland, next to Sokos Hotel Ilves. It was opened in March 1988, when it was the largest shopping center in Finland at the time. The shopping center and the adjacent Hotel Ilves were built on the site of the old Verkatehdas.
The Tampere City Central Office Building is an office building in Tampere, Finland, located on the edge of Tampere Central Square and the city's administrative center. Among other things, the council hall is located there.
The Tampere Police Station is a police station located in the Ratina district in Tampere, Finland, and also the administrative center of the Central Finland Police Department. The police station is also used by the Finnish Security Intelligence Service (SUPO). There are about 400 police officers working there and about 50 others. The police station consists of two buildings located near the Tampere Bus Station along the Hatanpää Highway and Sorinkatu streets; due to this, in Tampere colloquially, the police station and its surroundings are also known as Sori by locals.
The Tampere Bus Station is a bus station in the city center of Tampere, Finland, located in the Ratina district along the Hatanpää Highway. It takes about 20 minutes by bus to Tampere Airport from the bus station. The bus station, designed by Jaakko Laaksovirta and Bertel Strömmer, representing functionalist architecture, was completed in 1938, and is now a protected cultural site as well as an architectural attraction. When completed, it was also the largest bus station in the Nordic countries.
Dixi is a combined office, shopping and transport centre in Tikkurila, Vantaa, Finland, in connection to the Tikkurila railway station. Dixi is located to the west of the railway track, to the north of the old station building. The shopping centre was opened in 2015 and was expanded with a 100-metre-long (330 ft) expansion in 2017, with an upcoming final phase of a further 6,000 m2 (65,000 sq ft) of office space to its southern part on Ratatie.
