VETO is a Danish indie rock band formed in 2004. They released their first EP, I Will Not Listen, in 2005 and their first album, There's A Beat In All Machines, in 2006, both released on the Danish hip hop label, Tabu Records/Playground Music Denmark.
In February 2007, VETO won the award for Best New Act, as well as Best Danish Music Video at Danish Music Awards. [1]
Their song "You Are A Knife" was featured briefly in the American television program NCIS episode "Suspicion".
VETO's second album is called Crushing Digits and was released 5 May 2008. The first single for the album, "Built to Fail", was released in March 2008 and received heavy airplay as "Ugens Uundgåelige" (Unavoidable of the week) on the public service radio channel DR P3. [2]
The band was awarded Danish Band of the Year at the Danish Music Awards 2009. [3]
The band's third studio album, entitled Everything is Amplified , was released on February 25, 2011.

Martin Lee Gore is an English musician and songwriter. He is one of the founding members of the electronic rock band Depeche Mode and is the band's main songwriter. He is the band's guitarist and keyboardist, and occasionally provides lead vocals. Gore possesses a tenor singing voice which contrasts with Dave Gahan's dramatic baritone. He is also known for his flamboyant and (sometimes) androgynous stage persona. Gore has also released several solo albums and collaborated with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke as part of VCMG.
The Raveonettes are a Danish indie rock duo, consisting of Sune Rose Wagner on guitar, instruments and vocals, and Sharin Foo on bass, guitar and vocals. Their music is characterized by close two-part vocal harmonies inspired by The Everly Brothers coupled with hard-edged electric guitar overlaid with liberal doses of noise. Their songs juxtapose the structural and chordal simplicity of 1950s and 1960s rock with intense electric instrumentation, driving beats, and often dark lyrical content, similar to another of the band's influences, The Velvet Underground.

The Strength / The Sound / The Songs is the debut studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. Released in 2005, the album initially failed to chart. However, in July 2006 the album entered the Danish Charts, peaking at number 18. The album would stay on that chart for 21 non-consecutive weeks. Volbeat's label at the time, Mascot Records, had only a limited distribution deal in the United States, meaning that the album went largely unnoticed in that country. Volbeat would not breakthrough in the United States until 2010 with their fourth album, Beyond Hell/Above Heaven.

Progressed is the first extended play by British band Take That. The collection was released on 10 June 2011 and features eight previously unreleased tracks packaged alongside Take That's sixth studio album, Progress. When Saints Go Machine is a Danish electropop band from Copenhagen. The group consists of three members: Silas Moldenhawer (drums), Jonas Kenton and Nikolaj Manuel Vonsild (vocals). Until February 2019, there was a fourth member, Simon Muschinsky (keys). Moldenhawer and Kenton are also known from their parallel project, Kenton Slash Demon. When Saints Go Machine brings a more soulful sound than Kenton Slash Demon's rhythmic electro-house music. When Saints Go Machine was formed in 2007 and debuted with their self-titled EP in 2008. In May 2009 they released their debut album Ten Makes a Face. Their most popular songs are "Fail Forever", "You or The Gang" and "Kids on Vacation".
Marie Key Kristiansen better known as Marie Key is a Danish pop singer and songwriter. Marie released a successful debut single "Se nu herhen" taken from her debut album I byen igen. With her second solo album De her dage, Marie became an even bigger commercial success, reaching No. 1 on the Danish Album Charts.
Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen, known professionally as MØ, is a Danish singer and songwriter. She signed a recording contract with Sony Music Entertainment in 2012, releasing her debut extended play, Bikini Daze (2013), and her debut studio album, No Mythologies to Follow (2014).
Phlake is a Danish R&B and soul group, consisting of Mads Bo (vocals) and Jonathan Elkær (beats). The group released their first single in 2015, called "So Faded", which had some success in Denmark, but did not enter the official single chart. However on 16 October 2015, the single "Pregnant" was released and entered the Danish singles chart at number 9. The official international music video for "Pregnant" was released on YouTube by Sony Music on 11 March 2016. The video was also released in several countries, with the song gaining recognition in Sweden. They have also played at Norwegian music festival By:Larm.
