A canon is a member of certain bodies in Christianity subject to an ecclesiastical rule.

She moved to Oxford where she was a Canon of Christ Church Cathedral, Oxford (2011–2016). In retirement, she is canon emeritus of Christ Church Cathedral, and a chaplain and honorary canon at Portsmouth Cathedral.

Joseph Patricius Hawes is a British Anglican priest. Since 2018, he has been the Dean of St Edmundsbury. From 2003 to 2018, he was Vicar of All Saints Church, Fulham in the Diocese of London. His early parish ministry was spent in the Diocese of Southwark.
