Victoria Toogood is an Australian former rower. She was a national champion, a junior world champion and a medalist at World Championships.
Toogood's senior club rowing was in Adelaide from the Torrens Rowing Club and Riverside Rowing Club.
Toogood first made South Australian state representation in 1991 in the youth four with Kate Slatter which contested and won the Bicentennial Cup at the Interstate Regatta within the Australian Rowing Championships. [1] The following year she again rowed in the South Australian youth four and was joined by Alison Davies. [2]
In 1993 Toogood was selected in the South Australian women's senior four to compete for the ULVA Trophy at the Interstate Regatta. [3] In 1994 she stroked the South Australian four with Davies and Anna Ozolins to an ULVA Trophy victory. [4] She was again in that boat in 1995 (second) and 1996 (first place). [5]
Tory made her Australian representative debut in a coxless pair at the 1992 Junior World Rowing Championships in Montreal, where she rowed to first place and a world junior title with her South Australian teammate Alison Davies. [6] [7]
She made the Australian senior squad for the 1993 World Rowing Championships, and again raced the pair with Davies and won silver. [8] The following year at Indianapolis 1994 she was selected at stroke in the W4- and won the bronze medal with Davies, Kate Slatter and Megan Still. [9] She also rowed in the five set of the Australian women's eight at those championships and placed sixth. [6]
For Tampere 1995 - Toogood's last Australian representative appearance - she was selected in Australian women's eight. That boat finished in overall eighth place. [6]
Sally Newmarch, now known as Sally Callie, is an Australian former rower – a four-time national champion, a medal winning national representative who competed at World Rowing Championships from 1993 to 2004 and a three time Olympian.

The Australian Rowing Championships is an annual rowing event that determines Australia's national rowing champions and facilitates selection of Australian representative crews for World Championships and the Olympic Games. It is Australia's premier regatta, with states, clubs and schools sending their best crews. The Championships commence with the National Regatta - men's, women's and lightweight events in open, under 23, under 19, under 17 and school age events. Rowers at the National Regatta race in their local club colours with composite crews permitted. The Championships conclude with the Interstate Regatta - currently eight events competed by state representative crews or scullers selected by the state rowing associations. The states compete for an overall points tally which decides the Zurich Cup.

He has coached Australian and British crews to World Championship titles and Olympic medals including taking Kate Slatter and Megan Still to Australia's first women's Olympic rowing gold at Atlanta 1996. By 2012 he was Great Britain's head coach for women and lightweights and took British crews to three gold and two silver medals at London 2012. Since 2022 he has been Rowing Australia's High Performance Director.

In the six seasons from 1988 to 1993 she was consistently in the top-tier of Australian heavyweight women scullers winning ten national sculling titles and one sweep-oared championship title. She competed in the women's double sculls event at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
