The Kerry County Board of the Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) is one of the 32 county boards of the GAA in Ireland. It is responsible for Gaelic games in County Kerry, and for the Kerry county teams.

At inter-county level, he captained Cork to win the 1990 All-Ireland Championship; he had earlier claimed a first winners' medal as centre-forward on the 1989 All-Ireland-winning team. As well as being a successful captain for club and county, Tompkins was also selected for Leinster and Munster in the Railway Cup. After retirement from playing, he served as a coach and manager, most notably with the Cork senior team.
The All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship is a Gaelic football competition which began in 2002 and is played by the junior club champions of each county. Prior to that a number of unofficial competitions were held.
The Munster Senior Club Football Championship is an annual Gaelic football competition for the champion clubs of each county. It has been organised by the Munster Council of the Gaelic Athletic Association since 1964.
The Munster Junior Club Football Championship, formally known for sponsorship reasons as the AIB Munster GAA Junior Club Football Championship, is a Gaelic football competition, organized by the Munster provincial council of the Gaelic Athletic Association. The competition is played between the winners of the Junior Football championships in the 6 counties of Munster. It was first played officially in 2003 when Annascaul from Kerry and Carbery Rangers from Cork played each other. The winners of this competition will play against the winners of the other three provincial champions and the winner of the Britain championship for the All-Ireland Junior Club Football Championship.
Glenbeigh/Glencar G.A.A Club is a Gaelic Athletic Association club from the small village of Glenbeigh, near Killorglin in County Kerry.
Darran O'Sullivan is a Gaelic footballer. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Glenbeigh-Glencar, his divisional side Mid Kerry and was a member of the Kerry senior inter-county team from 2005 until 2018. O'Sullivan captained Kerry to the All-Ireland title in 2009.

Peter Crowley is an Irish sportsperson. He plays Gaelic football with his local club Laune Rangers. Crowley was a member of the Kerry county football team at senior level between 2012 and 2021, and was on the 2014 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship winning team. He retired from inter-county football in April 2021.
Mid Kerry is one of the divisions of Kerry Gaelic Athletic Association. It organizes Gaelic football and hurling competitions for the clubs within the division and fields teams in county competitions. The division is based around the town of Killorglin and neighboring parishes. The division was created in 1947 when Laune Rangers, Castlemaine, Milltown, Tuogh, Glenbeigh and Beaufort broke way from the East Kerry division to create their own competitions.
The 2019–20 All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship was the 50th staging of the All-Ireland Senior Club Football Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1970-71. The championship began on 20 October 2019 and ended on 19 January 2020.
Jerry O'Riordan was an Irish Gaelic footballer. At club level he played with Glenbeigh-Glencar and divisional side Mid Kerry and was an All-Ireland Championship winner with the Kerry senior football team.
Teddy O'Connor was an Irish Gaelic footballer who played for a number of clubs sides including Laune Rangers, Bantry Blues, Dr. Crokes and Killarney and at inter-county level with the Kerry senior football team.
