Vinu Abraham, is an Indian short story writer, novelist, script writer and media person writing in Malayalam language hailing from Nedungadappally, near Thiruvalla in Pathanamtitta district of the south Indian state of Kerala. For the past 30 years he is based in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala. His short stories and articles appear regularly in Malayalam periodicals in Kerala. He has published 23 books so far and penned screenplays for 7 Films.

‘Nashtanayika', his most famous novel depicts the saga of the tragic life of Malayalam cinema’s first heroine P.K.Rosy [1] and the making of the first Malayalam cinema ‘Vigatha Kumaran’. The famous Malayalam film celluloid directed by Kamal starring Pritviraj, Mamtha and Chandni is the adaptation of ‘Nashtanaayika’. [2]

He scripted Parudeesa which won the prize for ‘Best Dramatic Editing’ at Amsterdam International Film Festival. [2] The movie also won for best screenplay at Mexico International Film Festival. [2]

T. A. Razzaq was an Indian screenwriter, who worked on Malayalam movies. He was born to T.A.Bappu and Vazhayil Khadeeja. His younger brother, T. A. Shahid, was also a screenwriter who wrote scripts for successful films such as Balettan and Perumazhakkalam. He has received Kerala State Film Award for Best Story in 1996 and 2002 and once for Kerala State Film Award for Best Screenplay in 1996.

Ozhivu Divasathe Kali is a 2015 Indian Malayalam indie drama film directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan, based on the short story of the same name by Unni R. The film follows five middle-aged men who get together for a booze party during an election holiday in Kerala. It won the 46th Kerala State Film Award for Best Film. The film was included in The Hindu's top 25 Malayalam films of the decade and is widely regarded as one of the defining movies of the Malayalam New Wave.

Alencier Ley Lopez is an Indian film and theatre actor, who appears in Malayalam films. Lopez made his debut in the 1998 film Daya; and he worked in films like Annayum Rasoolum (2013), Njan Steve Lopez (2013), and Maheshinte Prathikaaram (2016).

S. Hareesh is an Indian writer, translator and screenwriter of Malayalam literature and cinema. He is best known for his short stories and his acclaimed but controversial debut novel, Meesa, which explores caste in Kerala in the mid-20th century. The novel, initially serialized in the Mathrubhumi weekly, was withdrawn after protests by right-wing Hindutva groups and caste-community organizations for "maligning Hindu women and temple priests". It was later published as a full novel by DC Books. Hareesh is the recipient of several honours including the Kerala Sahitya Akademi Award for Novel and the Geetha Hiranyan Endowment of the Kerala Sahitya Akademi. Arun Bose is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor and producer predominantly working in Malayalam Movies. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam feature film 'Luca (2019)' starring Tovino Thomas and Ahaana Krishna in 2019. He has also produced, scripted, photographed and directed an experimental Tamil feature film titled ‘Alaiyin Thisai’. His second Malayalam feature film Mindiyum Paranjum produced by Salim Ahamed has Unni Mukundan and Aparna Balamurali in the lead. Arun Bose is also a visiting faculty at various film and media schools like L.V. Prasad College of Media Studies, Madras Christian College etc.

Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval(Malayalam: രതീഷ് ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ പൊതുവാൾ; ) is an Indian film director, screenwriter in Malayalam cinema. He made his debut cinema with Android Kunjappan Version 5.25, released on 8 November 2019. His films include Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham, Nna Thaan Case Kodu, Madanolsavam. He won Best Screen play award in 53rd Kerala state film awards for the film Nna Thaan Case Kodu.
