Visage is a compilation video by the British band Visage, released in August 1985.
The video album compiles most of the music videos from the band's career between 1980 and 1984, including songs from their first three studio albums. The first part of the video consists of promo videos directed by Godley & Creme, Midge Ure, Tim Pope and Jean-Claude Luyat interspersed with interludes filmed by Luyat. [3] The footage from "Can You Hear Me" onwards is film material shot by Luyat in Egypt in 1983, which includes tracks from 1982's The Anvil and Beat Boy , which would be released in 1984. This includes footage shot for the song "Love Glove", though an alternative promo video for the song (directed by Nick Morris in a late night London Docklands setting) was released to TV stations in 1984 but is not included.
The project was first announced as a "documentary about the history of Visage" in Smash Hits magazine in 1983, shortly before Steve Strange's trip to Africa where much of the footage was filmed. He announced the release of the video in 1985 in an interview for a German television show, again claiming it to be "a documentary on the history of Visage". [4]
The video album was released in 1985 by Polygram's "Channel 5" brand, when Visage had already disbanded. In 2006, Universal Music released it on DVD with a different cover and liner notes by music journalist Paul Simper. [5]
The following is the VHS track listing. The DVD release does not list "The Steps", "The Dancer" and two parts of "Can You Hear Me" as separate titles (although it is identical to the VHS release), and adds jukebox and an audio-only option as extra features.
Arcadia was a new wave British group formed in 1985 by Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, and Roger Taylor of Duran Duran as a side project during a break in the band's schedule. The project was active only during 1985 and 1986 and for just one album, So Red the Rose, which was certified Platinum in the United States and included the singles "Election Day", "Goodbye Is Forever", "The Flame", and "The Promise". Drummer Roger Taylor appeared in only a few band photographs and one music video, and stated he was to be involved only in the recording side of the project.
Visage were a British rock/pop band formed in London in 1978. The band became closely linked to the burgeoning New Romantic fashion movement of the early 1980s, and are best known for their hit "Fade to Grey" which was released in late 1980. In the UK, the band achieved two Top 20 albums and five Top 30 singles before the commercial failure of their third album led to their break-up in 1985.

"Burning the Ground" is the 20th single by English new wave band Duran Duran, released in December 1989. It was created as a stand-alone single to promote the compilation album Decade. Its music video was included on the band's audiovisual compilation Greatest, released in 1999 (VHS) and 2003 (DVD). The song is essentially a megamix of Duran Duran's history, featuring snippets of all of the band's hits from the previous 10 years.

The discography of the British new wave band Visage consists of five studio albums, eight compilation albums, one EP and nineteen singles. Formed in 1978, the band released their first single "Tar" on the short-lived Radar Records label in 1979, before signing to Polydor Records in 1980. Their second single, "Fade To Grey", was released soon afterwards and became an international hit. After three studio albums and several personnel changes, the group disbanded in 1985 though a new line-up emerged in the 2000s, again led by vocalist Steve Strange. In 2013, the band released a new album, Hearts and Knives, the first new Visage album for 29 years. The following year, the band released Orchestral, a partly live album featuring various classic Visage songs remade with a symphony orchestra. The band's final studio album, Demons to Diamonds, was released in November 2015.
A One Man Show is a long-form music video collection featuring Jamaican singer Grace Jones, released in 1982. The video mainly consists of music videos, with some concert footage filmed when Jones was touring with the eponymous tour.
Music Videos, also referred to as Music Videos I, is a compilation of music videos by the French singer Mylène Farmer, containing all of her videos from 1984 to 1992. It was originally released on VHS in April 1997, then on DVD in 2000. A LaserDisc edition, also released in 1997, combined this compilation with the following Music Videos II.

R-Evolution is a 2013 music documentary featuring 19 live performances, TV performances and music videos by American rock band the Doors. The compilation features TV performances not previously released as well as original music videos from the 1960s, the 1980s and the 1990s. All archive footage was digitally restored and the sound was remixed and mastered for 5.1 by Bruce Botnick. It was released by Eagle Rock on November 25, 2013.
David Bowie: Black Tie White Noise is a 1993 film accompanying the release of the David Bowie album of the same name.
