The Confederación Sudamericana de Voleibol (CSV) is the continental governing body for the sports of volleyball in South America. Its headquarters is located in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Cenaida Cebastiana Uribe Medina, more commonly known as Cenaida Uribe, is a Peruvian former volleyball player and politician (PNP). During her sports career, Uribe played for the national team for many years and earned a silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. She also helped the Peruvian team win the bronze medal at the 1986 FIVB World Championship in Czechoslovakia.
Karla Miguelina Echenique is a volleyball player from the Dominican Republic, who played as a setter for the Women's National Team at the 2008 Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan, but did not qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics. She, and the Dominican Republic team did, however, qualify for the 2012 Summer Olympics, where they finished 5th.

Thaísa Daher de Menezes, also known as Thaísa Menezes or Thaísa Daher, is a professional volleyball player from Brazil. She won back-to-back gold medals at the Olympics in 2008 and 2012. She has won numerous Best Spiker and Best Blocker Awards and is often singled out as one of the greatest Brazilian players of all time.
Fabiana "Fabi" Alvim de Oliveira is a retired volleyball player from Brazil who won the gold medal at the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics.

She played the 2012 Summer Olympics with the Dominican Republic national team ranking in fifth place. She also played the 2010 and the 2014 World Championship earning the 17th place and the fifth place and the 2011 and the 2015 FIVB World Cup with her national team ranking in the eight and seventh place. She won the bronze medal in the 2015 Pan American Games.
