Volodymyr Polyovyi (born 28 July 1985 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukrainian SSR, Soviet Union) is a Ukrainian football player (defender) for Metalurh Zaporizhzhia. [1]
Volodymyr is a Ukrainian given name of Old East Slavic origin. The related Ancient Slavic, such as Czech, Russian, Serbian, Croatian, etc. form of the name is Володимѣръ Volodiměr, which in other Slavic languages became Vladimir.

MFC Metalurh Zaporizhzhia is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Zaporizhzhia. Reestablished in 2017, it is a "phoenix club" of the original Soviet factory team Metalurh that existed in 1935–2016. The match was the second final of national cup competition and it was contested by FC Dynamo Kyiv and FC Karpaty Lviv.
