Vontae Jason Daley-Campbell (born 2 April 2001) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right-back for EFL League Two club Chesterfield.

Club career

Leicester City

Daley-Campbell joined Leicester after being released by Arsenal in 2019. [3] He made his professional debut on 10 February 2021, playing the entirety of a 1–0 win against Brighton in the FA Cup fifth round. [4]

Dundee (loan)

On 31 January 2022, Daley-Campbell signed for Scottish Premiership side Dundee on loan until the end of the season. [5] He would make his debut the next day, starting in the Dundee derby. [6] Daley-Campbell would return to his parent club at the end of the season in May 2022. [7]

Cardiff City

On 15 June 2022, Daley-Campbell agreed to join Championship side Cardiff City on a three-year deal, active from 1 July when his Leicester City contract expires. [8]

His Cardiff City contract was terminated by mutual consent on the first of February 2024. He made only one appearance for the bluebirds. [9]

Peterborough United

On 14 February 2024, Daley-Campbell joined League One club Peterborough United on a short-term contract until the end of the season. [10] On 12 May 2024, the club announced he would be released in the summer when his contract expired. [11]

Chesterfield

On 1 August 2024, Daley-Campbell joined League Two club Chesterfield on a one-year deal with the option for a further twelve months. [12]

International career

Daley-Campbell was a member of the England under-17 team that hosted the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. [13]
