WOW Gold was released in 2000 and is part of the WOW series. It was a landmark two-album collection of thirty contemporary Christian music hits ranging from the 1970s to the time it was released. Marketing and distribution responsibilities for this title in the WOW series was relegated to Brentwood Records, part of the Provident Label Group. The compilation reached No. 111 on the Billboard 200 chart in 2000, and No. 3 on the Top Contemporary Christian album chart. Omari Ishmael Grandberry, known by his stage name Omarion, is an American singer, composer, actor and dancer. He is best known as the lead singer of the American R&B boy band B2K. The group achieved success in the early 2000s with singles like "Bump, Bump, Bump", "Uh Huh", and "Girlfriend", which all reached success on the Billboard Hot 100. After the group disbanded in 2004, Omarion embarked on a solo career and released his debut album, O in 2005, which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart, and received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Contemporary R&B Album at the 48th Grammy Awards.
