History

The station began broadcasting on November 1, 1970. [2] In the 1980s, the station aired a MOR-adult contemporary format. [2] [3] WRAR last aired a religious format as an affiliate of the LifeTalk Radio Network. The station's last owner was A.C.T.I.O.N., Inc. [1] WRAR left the air on May 1, 2013, for financial reasons; [4] it was deleted on November 21, 2014. [5]
