Walewale Senior High Technical School (WALSECTECH) is a second-cycle mixed gender institution located in Walewale, West Mamprusi District, Northeast Region of Ghana along the walewale Wungu road. The school was established in 1982. [8] In 2014, the headmaster of the school was Chief Kuipo Harrison. [9] In 2019, the student population of school was about 2276 students. [10] In April 2022, the school was provided with ICT equipment and facilities by the Israeli embassy in Ghana. [11] [12] [13]

Aggrey Memorial A.M.E. Zion Senior High School is a publicly-supported Coeducational senior high school in Cape Coast, Ghana. It educates students to pass the WASSCE.

Obuasi Senior High Technical School is a co-educational second-cycle public high school institution in Obuasi in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. The school is located in between the two towns, Gausu and Koffikrom. The school in 2019 reached the quarter-finals of the National Science and Maths Quiz Competition after beating St Francis Xavier Minor Seminary and Krobo Girls SHS. The school came up first with 44pts followed by St Francis with 18pts and Krobo with 16pts. Masters Kojo Daniel Eshun and Lawrence Adjei were the proud contestants for that day. Obuasi Senior High Technical School has won the Ashanti regional Milo soccer competition in 2005 and 2015. In the Zonal Inter Colleges Athletics competition, they have won several times Students of the school were claimed to have created 'a touchless bin' in the fight against COVID-19.

Kpando Senior High School formerly known as Kpando Secondary School is a second cycle Co-Ed institution in the Kpando Municipal District of the Volta Region of Ghana. One of the three second cycle schools in the Kpando township and arguably the best Senior High School in the Kpando Municipality as well as in the Volta Region of Ghana.

The Savannah Region is one of the newest regions of Ghana and yet the largest region in the country. The creation of the Region follows presentation of a petition by the Gonja Traditional Council, led by the Yagbonwura Tumtumba Boresa Jakpa I. Upon receiving favourable responses from all stakeholders in the Northern Region, the Brobbey Commission, a referendum was conducted on the 27th December 2018. The result was a resounding yes of 99.7%. The President of the Republic of Ghana signed and presented the Constitutional Instrument (CI) 115 to the Yagbonwura in the Jubilee House, Accra on 12 February 2019.
