Walter Norman Ledingham (born October 26, 1950) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who played 15 games in the National Hockey League with the Chicago Black Hawks and New York Islanders between 1973 and 1976. Ledingham was born in Midale, Saskatchewan, but grew up in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.

Melfort is a city in Saskatchewan, Canada, located approximately 95 km (59 mi) southeast of Prince Albert, 172 km (107 mi) northeast of Saskatoon and 280 km (170 mi) north of Regina.
Foam Lake is a town in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada. It had a population of 1,123 in 2006. It is located in a mixed agricultural area approximately 220 km south-east of Saskatoon on the Yellowhead Highway. Foam Lake, the lake for which the town is named, is located about 5 km (3.1 mi) to the north-west.
Wakaw, Saskatchewan, is a town 90 km northeast of Saskatoon and 66 km south of Prince Albert. It is about halfway between the two cities and is served by Highway 2, Highway 41 and Highway 312. Wakaw is in hilly partially forested country east of the South Saskatchewan River. The area is part of the aspen parkland biome. Wakaw is about 11 miles north of the town of Cudworth. He previously served as head coach of the San Jose Sharks (2008–2015) and Edmonton Oilers (2015–2018), and as an assistant coach with the Detroit Red Wings (2005–2008), with whom he won the Stanley Cup in 2008. He was drafted in 1986 by the New York Islanders, but only played five games with the major league club in the 1987–88 season before retiring in the minors the following season due to recurring injury.
