Wammo is an album by New Zealand band Bailter Space, released in 1995. [3] [4] It reached number 31 in New Zealand upon original release. [5] Matador Records reissued the album on vinyl in 2021 for its 25th anniversary, [6] after which it reached a new peak of number 23 in New Zealand. [7]
Andrew Earles, in Gimme Indie Rock: 500 Essential American Underground Rock Albums 1981-1996, wrote that "Bailter Space's final album for Matador (fifth overall) finds the band showing everyone how skilled it was at erasing any lines of demarcation separating wickedly catchy pop songs and washes of guitar noise and toothy dynamics." [8] Dave Thompson, in Alternative Rock, called it "their most conventional hook-laden missive yet." [9]

Live '84 is an album released by Black Flag in 1984 on SST Records. It is a live recording of a show played in 1984 and features mostly tracks from My War and Slip It In. A video was shot simultaneously and was briefly available through SST; the now-out-of-print video has been widely bootlegged.

Bailter Space is a New Zealand shoegaze and noise rock band that formed in Christchurch, in 1987 as Nelsh Bailter Space; they had previously recorded as The Gordons. Its members are Alister Parker, John Halvorsen, Brent McLachlan. After releasing seven studio albums, numerous EPs/singles and a career retrospective compilation, Bailter Space went on an extended hiatus in 2004. They returned in August 2008 to play the Bowery Ballroom in Manhattan.

At the time of the album's release, Subterranean offered extra empty covers of the album by mail order for $2 for those Flipper fans that wanted to have a cover to cut up and assemble. The album was reissued by Water Records on December 9, 2008, for the first time on CD, with liner notes provided by Buzz Osborne of the Melvins.
