Wang Junxia is a Chinese former long-distance runner who is the current world record holder at 3,000 meters. She also held the world record for the 10,000 meters for 23 years, between 1993 and 2016. Her best years lay between 1991 and 1996. Wang was coached by Ma Junren until 1995 and by Mao Dezhen from 1995 to her retirement after the 1996 Atlanta Olympics.

She has since served as an assistant coach at Pennsylvania State University, Rutgers University and Columbia University, where she has been employed since 2008.
Wang Linuo is a Chinese retired ice hockey player. She was a member of the Chinese women's national ice hockey team and represented China in the women's ice hockey tournaments at the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics, serving as team captain in 2010.
