"Want You" was written by Oxlade, and produced by TMXO. It also peaked at number 47 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Chart and number 18 on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart.

Commercial performance

During the debut week of Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, "Want You" peaked at number forty-seven. [4] "Want You" peaked at number eighteen on the UK Afrobeats Singles Chart. [5] "Want You" was named on The Native's songs of the day on 18 March 2020. [6] On 13 July 2022, "Want You" debuted on the newly renamed TurnTable Top TV Songs, formerly TV Top songs, at number 21. The song earned her a Grammy Award nomination. That same year, she was featured on the song "Fountains" by Drake.

On 23 December 2021, a reworked version of "Peru" was released, in collaboration with English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran. "Love Don't Cost a Dime" is a song by Nigerian singer and songwriter Magixx, from his eponymous debut EP Magixx. It was officially released as a single on 24 September 2021 by Mavin Records. The song was written by Magixx, and produced by Lomon. A new version of the song titled "Love Don't Cost a Dime (Re-Up)" featuring Nigerian singer Ayra Starr was released as a single in 2022.

Following its release, a live-performing video was released on Colors YouTube channel, which has received over 74 million YouTube streams as of 13 September 2023. A remix along with Cuban-American singer Camila Cabello was released on 9 December 2022 with new verses from Cabello.

Sad Romance is the debut studio album by Nigerian singer CKay. It was released by Warner Music Africa on 23 September 2022. The album features guest appearances from Ayra Starr, Davido, Focalistic, Abidoza, Mayra Andrade, and Ronisia, and was executive produced by CKay. Following the release of the album CKay embarked on the Sad Romance North America Tour (2022).
